Was wondering if the clip actually does sound better? Even when the classic 5th gen iPod is using a wolfson WM8758 sound chip while I dont even know what sandisk is using. Assuming that both are rockboxed so I can play FLAC files (even when clip can already play it).

I also read the sound were horrible because the cables weren't fully screwed in after you plug the cable into the headphone your suppose to twist it until it's screw are locked or else the sq will be bad. Maybe that's one reason, I'm still debating on this or hd25-1 and pro580.
