I absolutely love my speakers. They are incredible for near-field listening. And they look as good as they sound!

If you ordered it from JDSLabs it should include a USB cable with a ferrite bead.

The difference is the high frequency audio signals aren't really frequencies at all during the USB part of this process. They are 1s and 0s (sort of...rather an electrical representation of 1s and 0s). It's not until it gets to the DAC that it actually gets converted into high/low/mid frequencies.

His description sounded to me more likely to be a power issue, as though the ODAC is clipping? It seems to be common with the ODAC(luckily I have not had issues myself).

I have had no luck getting them to fit correctly either. I can get them close, but no matter how I adjust them, they just won't stay on well enough without being held by my hands. I'm quite disappointed, as when I hold them to my hears the sound is fantastic. I very much love the sound. I'm not...

Well, they have officially shipped, should be here by Thursday .  I have been doing more research, and I did find another positive review that's not really of a "commercial" type.   He doesn't so much compare it to his other equipment, but he seems to be more experienced with higher end...

Another point to add to your quite lovely post that I think well represents most of us who are sitting back, quietly enjoying our ODACs and O2s.  I find one of the coolest things about the designer of our Objective DAC, is that if at some point, it turns out that there is another measurement...

Maybe he means all DACs are close only in the unimportant audible frequencies, and the 40% difference applies to that oh-so-critical "not part of the audible frequencies" aspect of the sound.   I'm all ears (err...eyes?) Mr. brat.  Please, expand our minds.
