    NEW HiBy R4

Seems to be the Hiby house sound.

Shanling M1s - Ideal Compact Portable Player

The M0 pro has a flap covering, the M1s does not. The standard cases do not cover either.

Shanling M1s - Ideal Compact Portable Player

I'm surprised to hear that he R3 sounds warmer than the M1S. My only experience with Hiby is the R3 Pro Saber and that is far from warm.

Shanling M1s - Ideal Compact Portable Player

Seen. Which now begs the question why Shanling placed a 20k track limit on the better spec'd M1S? If the reportedly clunky Hiby R3 ii can handle 50k tracks why not the new Shanling device?

Shanling M1s - Ideal Compact Portable Player

You know that the Hiby r3 ii has a 50k limit based on experience or speculation? The hardware is what caused the 20k limit and last I checked the Hiby R3 ii has the old x1000 - same as the Shanling Q1, M0 Pro and Hiby R3 Pro Saber.

Shanling M1s - Ideal Compact Portable Player

I wasn't aware that the Hiby R3 II had been released yet but from your criteria it looks like a win for Shanling. Not sure why Hiby would release a new device using the old x1000. Very odd decision.

Shanling M0 Pro - Ultra-Portable Hi-Fi Player, Now With Balanced Output!

They show up on albums that are properly tagged - artist and album info that displays just fine on the M3U and Q1.

Shanling M0 Pro - Ultra-Portable Hi-Fi Player, Now With Balanced Output!

M1s got another firmware update before the m0 pro gets one?

Huge Comparison of [almost] all the Best Bluetooth Headphones - post your own comparisons here

Am I the only person who prefers touch controls? I keep hearing about people complain about the Momentum 4's controls but they're easily my favorite from any wireless headphones that I own or have tried.

I haven’t had this experience. I’ve used this device successfully for several hours via Bluetooth headphones.

    Interesting review and comparison.

New Sony Walkman NW-A300 Series (Android 12)

Neutron app has been good for me, it doesn't look as pretty as Poweramp (which has the best UI) but it is very versatile and allows you to get optimum use of your device.

Shanling M1s - Ideal Compact Portable Player

M1S. Shanling devices tend to have a far more enjoyable sound than their Hiby counterparts.

Introducing Shanling M3 Ultra - New Generation of Compact Android Portable Player

Neutron on the Shanling M3U is definitely winning. Not sure what kind of sorcery they pulled to extract even more out of this device but they did it.

Any noticeable difference in sound quality?

    Android: Neutron Music Player

Silent fail. MUSIC is right, that's the correct name of the folder that the files are in, not Music. I've edited one of my playlists to resemble that made from within Neutron. It works now but I'd prefer if I didn't have to do that.

    Android: Neutron Music Player

Some have been made on the Sony NW A55 but play just fine on UAPP and Poweramp. Others were made on Poweramp on the Shanling M3U. Neutron is running on the Shanling M3U.

    Android: Neutron Music Player

I don't have this problem, there are no backslashes. This is how imported playlist entries appear: #EXT-X-RATING:0 external_sd1/Music/plaid/the_digging_remed/11_-_Plaid_-_The_Digging_Remedy_-_Held.flac And this is how playlist entries look when generated by Neutron: #EXTM3U #EXTINF:296, Lil...

    Android: Neutron Music Player

Does anyone else have an issue with imported playlists? The other apps I have installed (Poweramp and UAPP) import and play playlists just fine but Neutron seems unable to play them.

Local files. Same playlists work just fine on UAPP and Poweramp.

Introducing Shanling M3 Ultra - New Generation of Compact Android Portable Player

My playlists work just fine on every other player (even UAPP) but Neutron takes issue with them and inserts a peculiar input inbetween each track.

Unfamiliar with that app. USB Audio is another good sounding app with a clean but basic UI.
