Is something wrong with headphones? Or my amp?
I have a pair of Sennheiser HD 598s, and a Fiio E7. A lot of people said they noticed a HUGE difference when they got a Fiio E7. To be honest, I didn't notice much difference at all. I think the amp works fine, since when I change the bass booster, I can hear a difference, but other people...- markzi

Fiio E7 review
I know I know, there are lots of reviews on the E7. But I just got mine and I'm pretty excited! :D Looks: The thing looks really nice, it feels really solid, I love the little OLED screen. It's a little fatter than I expected, but surprisingly light for it's size. Sound: It's an Amp...- markzi

Is there anything better then the AT M50's?
Well, I listen to Metal and Rock, just like you, I own a pair of Sennheiser HD 598s. They are amazing. And my amp hasn't even arrived yet. They lack some bass. But I'm sure my Fiio E7 will fix that once it gets here. So I'd recommend the HD 598s- markzi

Fiio E7 - Sennheiser HD 598
Well, I'm using my Sennheiser HD 598 with my Computer. I don't have a soundcard. I'm using onboard Realtek ALC 892. Will I notice a big difference in Sound Quality if I get the Fiio E7? Will I notice any difference a all?- markzi

Best Sound Card for less than 120$?
That would be nice but I would have shipping problems and I prefer not to use used products. I will go for the Xonar DX and pair it with my Fiio E7 Amp Only. If I don't find a DX in my country what alternatives should I consider? I've heard a lot of things about the HT Omega Striker. What do you...- markzi

Recommendation for first pair of headphones
If the Sennheiser HD598s are out of your budget try the Audio Technica ATH M50. If it's still out of your budget, there are some 70$ Grados everybody is talking about that are excellent for the price. EDIT: I just found out your budget is around 400$. I would highly recommend the HD 598s...- markzi

Best Sound Card for less than 120$?
-Sennheiser HD 598s -Onboard Sound. I have 120$ that I can spend on a sound card. Here are my preferences. Music>Guitar Recording>Games. Music: I listen to metal mostly. Guitar Recording: I use Guitar Rig 5 to record music, sound is horrible recording with onboard sound...- markzi

Philips SBC HP400
I wanted to make a thread about these headphones because for 35$ headphones, these are way too awesome. I mean, I can even compare it to my Sennheiser HD 598. Of course the HD 598s are better, but the HP400s put up a fair fight. They sound incredibly decent for the price. The bass is almost non...- markzi

Getting "called-out" for not wearing the Beats
If I could get a pair of Beats Pros for 75$, I would. But I ain't paying 400$ for these. It's blasphemy, The Pros Detox, which sound EXACTLY like the pros are 500$. A pair of Sennheiser HD 598s sound way better (I have them, and I've tried the pros) and you can get them for around 250$- markzi

Headphones you regretted buying the most
Well, I didn't buy them, but I considered buying them. It was when I knew nothing about headphones, I went over and tried out the Beats Solo. I'm so glad I did my research later on. I ended up getting Sennheiser HD 598s. Now I laugh at people who pay hundreds for a pair of headphones like beats...- markzi

Realtek ALC 892 vs Xonar DG
Thanks for the info guys, I'm plugging my guitar raw into the PC, and it works pretty well, but the users said I could get waaaay better quality by getting a good sound card. I guess I'll stick with the Fiio E7, and then maybe upgrade to A xonar STX or something,- markzi

Should I get a sound Card?
Thanks for the replies, I mostly listen to music, I never watch movies on my PC, and I don't care that much about music in my games. It's Music > Record Guitar > Everything Else. I guess I'll try to find a good ADC, I'll do some research.- markzi

Realtek ALC 892 vs Xonar DG
I can't send back my E7, so I guess I'll have to use it. I'm using a program called guitar rig to record guitar, that's the reason I wanted to get a sound card. Will the Fiio E7 take the role of the sound card and produce better recording quality? If not, I can just get A Xonar DG and plug the...- markzi

Realtek ALC 892 vs Xonar DG
So, first things first: - I have a pair of Sennheiser HD598s - I have a Fiio E7 on the way - I'm using onboard sound (ALC892) So, I've been wanting to get the most out of my senns for a while now. I'm willing to pay up to 100$ for a sound card if it'll make a difference...- markzi
