Actually, I thought it was the rangers (Aragorn's crew from up north) who rejoined him at Helm's Deep. I agree that the Elves in the movie were a nice touch - for such a cheesy sequence their arrival was actually quite moving, and introducing the rangers at this stage would have been confusing...

Interesting observations, a little different from my SR-300 to 325 comparison. I found that the 325s have a much higher sensitivity than the 300s (on a Corda HA-2 0 ohm, around 8-9 o' clock for the 325s was close to 11 o' clock for the 300s). I also found the 325s to have more bass slam. As for...

I've never heard anything like that out of mine. I would be a little concerned. There really shouldn't be any moving parts, you know? Since it's some sort of mechanical noise, I would take the top off and reboot your computer to see if anything visible happens at the same time.
