Anyone?

I'm using AKG K324's and like them a lot. Probably in your price range (they're about $100 CDN). Small, decent noise blocking, etc. They work well for me.

If they sound good with music, they'll sound good with games. Try other makes, that's the real experiment. And my Grados don't hurt at all....

I went to a Grado SR60 and an AKG K240. Fantastic values...

I wanna get some techflex that'll go over the Cardas 4 x 24 cable. Would an 1/8" do it or do I need the 1/4"?

Ah, looks like Parts Express has what I need. But I'll listen to other suggestions, too.

I'm having a tough time finding a 1/4" female connector. I wanna make a 1/4" to mini adapter, and can't seem find a 1/4" female. I've tried Take 5, Parts Connexion, Qables, etc. Any other ideas?

I remember Little Dot used to make a portable tube headphone amp. I don't remember the model # or name. Just wondering if it was any good. Are there other portable tube amps available? Are they just a pain in the a**? Or will I like them like I like my other stereo and headphone tube gear?

I hear the Creative are a Denon clone, but how similar are they really? I'm looking for a portable closed back can and HD25s & 1001s are top of list. Should I consider the Creatives? Or continue to be a brand whore?

My Denon's recently lost sound in the right can. I'd like to attempt a recable myself and would like to have a look inside before deciding. I suspect that the back just pops off, but would like to check with someone that's done it before so that I don't bust it... Any additional feedback on...
