For me,, music is the raw emotion of composer or singer and can really say what can't be said.    On one hand, music is beautiful and romantic - Candle in the wind, Set fire to the rain etc are all beautiful, but can you imagine just plainly reciting the lyrics to someone? No, you can't...

Not 100% sure on prices but it says 50-180 pound, presumably without headphones but still some of their work is AMAZING! :L Plus you dont have to buy the whole schebang you can get individual parts, which is cool.look...

HD 25-1 ii's are the boss but they look fairly geeky or you could go with the no-brainer for a lot of this site - audio technica m50's both arent that expensive you can get the for >200
