Introducing the xDuoo MH-02 DAC & Tube Headphone Amplifier - Now Available on Apos Audio
This amp is very interesting, however it lacks the 4.4 or SE output impedance. It's a tube amp but since it's a hybrid I wonder if it will work well with in-ears ?- DarktoreS

Reply to review by 'DarktoreS' on item 'iBasso IT05'
I really like these Ibasso IT05s, however with the DC Elite they can sometimes be a little too lively in the treble. But with Comply TSX-500 it's better because for me it's almost ideal, in my opinion it makes the IT05 more versatile than with the original tips !- DarktoreS

iBasso IT05
I have just received these IT05, for me it calms down a little their peak in the high frequencies with foam tips, but with a source other than the DC Elite it will perhaps not be necessary to go through comply ...- DarktoreS

Astell&Kern SA700 - Past meets Present
Hi, I had the opportunity to have an SA700SS almost like new at a very good second-hand price for €400, I had been looking at it for a long time as a former user of : AK jr, 120, 120mk2, 320... I find it very pleasant in terms of sound, knowing that I only use it as a simple player and in USB...- DarktoreS

RØDE NTH-100 (new studio headphones)
Yes I carefully cut the small plastic pieces for the original cable lock, I used a cutter blade and a small pair of pliers and it was good.- DarktoreS

RØDE NTH-100 (new studio headphones)
I fell under the spell of this RODE NTH-1, I am pleasantly surprised by the perceived quality and the very good listening provided by these headphones. After 24 hours I thought why not test it on the Ibasso DC04, unfortunately you can't listen to it with a balanced source. Cut the cable...- DarktoreS

Beyerdynamic T1 3rd Gen out now
I have been a long-time fan of the Beyerdynamic brand, yet with this T1 Gen3 I only see a rebranding of the partnership with Astell & Kern of the A&K T1P model ... The change being on the look and in the addition of the filter in front of the driver, for the first time in years I don't want to...- DarktoreS

Beyerdynamic T1 3rd Gen out now
You say it's even brighter than the T1.2 while everyone is doing the opposite, I think there must be some problem other than rendering the headphone ? Is it a black T1.2 that we see on the photo in the background ?- DarktoreS

Audeze LCD-2C Classic - Impressions Thread
The headband of the original LCD2C is made of steel, the tightening is stronger than that of carbon. For the weight I think it is not worth taking the carbon version to have a lighter headphone, on the other hand for me and the tightening on the head with the carbon headband is more progressive...- DarktoreS

Audeze LCD-2C Classic - Impressions Thread
Finally I chose a slightly thinner leather headbanc than the previous version, I find it more comfortable. I simplified the design of the red leather, now I find that it fits better with the general style of this LCD2C ! !- DarktoreS

New Beyerdynamic T1 (2nd Generation)
The Mcintosh MHA150 is perhaps not the most suitable headphone amplifier, I know the Beyerdynamics very well and I have a Questyle CMA Twelve Master. Currently I have a DT1990 and a DT1770, I am waiting for a T1.2 black edition. In addition I tried the Mcintosh MHA150, I must say that on the...- DarktoreS
