full music and sophia electric are variants of the same produced and manufactured tubes (i believe i read), although i understand the sophias are a different/higher grade.

an open-box aperio would cost about the same as an open box lina dac + envy + susvara. i can't ever see myself taking the aperio over the latter setup. i say this having owned and really liked an M1.

i have no issues with DTC stock cable. it is one of the few stock cables that i am not eager to upgrade. i'll add that i have the opposite impression of the 1266 stock cable. that cable is so bulky and awkward that i purchased a different cable for it almost right away.

not sure what to make of this. susvara new costs $6000. susvara new as an out of warranty replacement costs $300. this math does not add up.

It's sad that an open box headphone, so one with low to minimal hours, dies so quickly after use. The susvara is an inversely proportional headphone with respect to sound and build quality.
