1964 Ears
I agree with ericp. There's a general level of what is acceptable or decent for IEM's. However what is considered the best sound signature varies from one individual to another. To each his own.- kenniepark

Thanks for the response eric, I am seeing the two holes that vary in size. However, if you look at Chocky's IEM, he doesn't have a huge hole to accommodate for the two other holes. I'm wondering if that's normal? Hopefully my explanation makes sense, I attached a couple more photos. ...- kenniepark

Thanks Chalky, Do these look normal? These are my first customs but is that big hole supposed to be there?? Sorry for the poor image quality.. this is the best I could get with my iphone. I tried my best to get the bores focused. Both IEMs look like this.- kenniepark

1964 Ears
Thanks Aleki - unfortunately they're just black. I think the reflection of the desk and outside made it appear slightly navy/purple. That would be a nice touch but I didn't want to pay the additional $25 or so. Can anyone post a photo of their Quads or Trips. Specifically a macro shot of...- kenniepark

1964 Ears
Yeah, after a few years with Universals I finally bit the bullet and went for customs. The fit seems good so far, maybe a little too snug on the right side. I'll have to re-access after a few days of use.- kenniepark

Worst customer service you've ever received
Quote: JH Audio never responded to any of my emails. I was thinking about getting a pair of JH5 Pro's and asked them a few questions via email but never received a response back. Though I've heard good things about their IEM''s I eventually went with another company. AndrewG: I think it's...- kenniepark

Cheapest place to get the triple fi 10s?
Amazon or eBay, though I would go through earphonesolutions for their warranty. Try price matching or sending them an email.- kenniepark

Worst customer service you've ever received
I'm curious to see which companies are known for their excellent customer service and which ones you should stay away from. What better place to ask than head-fi? Personal stories are a plus!- kenniepark

I recently placed an order for a pair of Q4's. I'm upgrading from Westone 3's, has anyone here owned a pair of 3's and upgraded to Q's or T's and tell me the difference?- kenniepark

Best earphones for under $250?
You can't fully appreciate IEMS unless they're comfortable! I owned a pair of Super.fi 5's that sounded great for the price, however they hurt my ears so I eventually sold them. I think it's because I have smaller ear holes(?) than most guys. Anyway I ended up replacing them with Westone 3's but...- kenniepark

Looking for new tips.
I've used both and the Shure foam sleeves felt more comfortable in my ears than the UE Foam sleeves. However, your ears are unique to you so you won't be able to get a definite answer from anyone. I would suggest to get the cheaper of the two =)- kenniepark

Westone 4 or JH 5pro ?
I was in the same boat as you a month ago. In the end I decided to go with a pair of customs cause I knew that sooner or later I'd go down that route. Heard good things about JH5 Pro's- kenniepark
