no way im70 is better than tf10. arguably neither the z5. haven't heard the a3's. i've owned or own all others

No additional charge if they're still in the warranty period and you've registered your pair only accordingly. They've been very good with repairs for the folks on here (from what I can tell) so I would give it a shot, but not expect a new pair at no fee unless you are the original owner.

I'm curious to see what these sound like. Wasn't much of a fan of the T10. Credits to the build quality though!

I have the SE215 LE and I use them in the gym with my G3. No complaints.

^^ Compared to my iPhone 5, the G3 is definitely brighter but exposes more detail as well. If you like a dark sound, I'd advise someone to be very weary of pairing the IE800 with the G3 as Duncan is correct - although not completely. I think the G3 has a comparatively bright sound, but has no...

the red dot is located on the cable to determine between left and right. i'm assuming the other cable has a blue dot.   again, only located on the cable itself

If your heart was set on these, then that's great and $200 for them ASAP is worth your money I guess. But, $200 is also the price for a number of great IEMs.

I'll agree with the fact that most of it is recorded poorly. Hip-Hop/Rap is a lot of guys who make their own mixtapes, rap over instrumentals they found on the net, had some friend mix/master for them, etc. Only big timers (they're recorded well) will make the difference.

Between my IE800 and the XBA-Z5's I had, I found these to be the most natural sounding as well.

These are Sony Ericsson products I believe and you know that product line has gone under. So I presume that they're discontinued unless China manages to keep producing fakes

Only if the dealer you bought from is an authorized dealer. I don't think they even sell these IEMs in the west part of the world so you have a better chance of having bought from an authorized retailer getting it imported from japan than not.
