IMO TH900 > T5p.2 > TH610 (without the price in consideration) BUT with the cost factor, then, TH900 > TH610 > T5p.2 Just my opinion, :) ymmv

I am sorry to sidetrack this thread but I demoed ESL, KEF R series, Blade, Sonus, and ESL wasnt even close to any others. If you are looking for the best value speaker go with Tekton Double Impact or Ulfberht :) So many choices

ya i agree, 2 diff but if you want to have some serious listening, I say go with the speaker with the dedicated acoustic room. :)

Thats why i moved onto the full tower speakers, far better sound. Headphones can't compete with the floor standings imo.

There is some leak with Fostex headphones but that is the reason I like them. Beyerdynamic and Ultrasone ed8 were too tight/firm for me causing lot of heat and sweats. I guess everyone is different but I like Fostex ;)

Actually commenting myself, ended up buying TH610, sounds similar to T5p.2 that I had, lot more comfortable, Little bit of more trebles than T5p.2.

I used Oppo as the main dac to my speakers, and also used to drive HE6 and other headphones, an excellent DAC and headphone amp. I was sad to see Oppo leaving :(

I need to know this too. I bought 2 pair of T5p 2nd and it was horrible, didn't like that headphone but the finish is very very nice. Sound quality-wise I rated T5p.2 as mid-fi headphone. I am thinking maybe TH610/600 is at the same level as T5p.2 ?

I had T40RPMk3, I returned it due to the design issue, the one thing that annoyed me was the earcups being constantly moving front to back. No matter how you adjust the earcups, it swivel, I hope that is fixed in this version. ? then take my money :)
