    Well, I don't think you need DAC because that sony x1060 can't deliver a digital signal to a DAC. If you want, you can get a amp for x1060. The WM-port can be used as a line-out dock with suitabe cable.

    Yes, the multiple drivers IEM usually have a better performance than the single one, that not absolutely. Also, the dymatic earphone sennheiser Ie8 is good for classical music.

    Well, for listening, I think the most imprtant thing is that you like the way the earphones perform. So if you dislike, even the most expensive custom sounds worst, right? However, there may be no chance to have a try on custom IEM, but they are really different from the universal ones.
