These are authentic, purchased directly from Monster. Comes with all originally included accessories, original box, and Miles Davis - Kind of Blue cd(still sealed). The rubberized outside of the hard case has become tacky over time, so you likely won't want to use it. Luckily, Monster included...

Just got my pair in today. Good lord they are awesome. What a freaking steal at this price. They handily beat my triplefi 10's. I haven't tried mid high boost yet but I will. The stock tips feel great for me.

Saw this price and decided to bite. I'm curious to see how they compare to the triplefi 10's that I've been using for like 15 years.

Resurrecting an ancient thread... The strain relief on one of mine just broke. Anyone know what Monster will do as far as warranty is concerne ? I'm not willing to trade them for the garbage they're selling right now. I contacted them, will update when I hear back.

These things sound so good with bass-heavy music.  Saw these guys in New Orleans earlier this year, they sound phenomenal with the X00's  

Wish I could take back my initial thoughts on these. After giving my brain some burn in, these headphones are phenomenal. Also, everyone should calm down and wait for more reviews. I'm just one person, who has spent only a few hours listening to these, and at the time I made my initial comments...

They have Denon bass.  They're fun as hell.    Anyway, I've got some stuff to do.  BBL

These headphones kick ass. 

The J$ pads smooth out the highs and bring the mids down a bit.  These two headphones sound very similar with the same pads. 

The midrange in the TH-X00 is more forward.  Bass quality is similar.  Highs sound smoother on the D7000's.  A touch of sibilance on the TH-X00's, though my ears are very sensitive to peaks in that frequency range.  The TH-X00 are excellent.  They sound considerably more closed than the D7000's...

T   Yeah.  I am already realizing that I was too quick to jump to that conclusion, and edited my previous post because I don't want to steer people wrong.  These sound better the more I listen to them.  Probably "undoing" the year of listening almost exclusively to the D7000's.

I may have been too quick to jump to that conclusion.  I prefer the sound signature of the D7000's on first listen though.

Photos:         They included a monoprice 3.5mm adapter.  Not bad, but I will use my own.     Packaging is pretty low-end, but I don't really care about that.  I'm not planning on storing these in the packaging since they also included a pouch.           TH-X00 cable...

My pair just arrived.  Giving them a listen now.  I will post unboxing photos and a comparison to my modded D7000's (J$ pads + dynamat mod) in a bit.  Giving my ears some break-in time with the TH-X00's then going to switch to the D7k's

You can run the whole thing on one device as long as you can power it while using usb otg
