i'm looking for a budget pair of bluetooth ANC headphones, i was wondering if anyone had any experience with the Mpow H6? they certainly look the part but the reviews are thin on the ground - i think they're quite new. i'm open to other suggestions in the <£70 range as well, if anyone has...- mammoth1981

Saw these pop up on my Aliexpress feed the other day and the reviews swayed me into trying a pair. Although they're unbranded in the listing and photographs, a user review shows a brand like SNSLY on the outside of the cups. Can't say i've ever heard of them but the reviews are all...- mammoth1981

I'd like to try a pair of ISK MDH9000 (aka Marantz MPH-2) but they're pretty expensive everywhere I look. £45 on Aliexpress, £55 on Amazon. The fact that you guys in the USA could get a pair for $40 puts me off paying much more than that. On another note, I've been looking at the Yoga...- mammoth1981

Thanks for starting this thread. The only China headphones I own that haven't already been mentioned in this thread are the Somic V2. They're open back 40mm cans, I picked them up from gearbest for £30 when they were on sale. They can still be found for about £35 on aliexpress...- mammoth1981

Anyone have any info/opinions on the Pisen HD500? It's supposedly a full metal, closed back hifi headphone. It also comes in a black/silver/blue variation. The price seems to be about $55. At the very least they look beautiful, but I wonder if anyone has heard them?- mammoth1981

Pisen HD500 - Full metal, Closed back headphones. Anyone tried them?
There's not much info online about them, save for what seems like an advertising article on xiaomitoday. I've ordered a pair, the full metal housing and band did it for me. Whether merimobiles will actually ship them though is another thing... Anyone own these cans, or know anything more...- mammoth1981

xDuoo X2 - small lossless player with microSD and OLED!
Hi McGilli, Thanks very much for the suggestion but I'm afraid the player is now sold and packaged up ready to go. I don't want to unpack it all again as it's going to the Post Office this morning on my way to work. Now I need to find a suitable replacement before the 16th. She wanted...- mammoth1981

xDuoo X2 - small lossless player with microSD and OLED!
Yep of course. The albums show in alphabetical order, but the tracks inside show in a random order. 7, 9, 4, 10, 8, 1, 5 etc. When I select, for example, 09 - The sweetest Victory.mp3 the player shows that it's actually playing track 2, since that's the position the player has put it in the...- mammoth1981

Yeah did copy everything over with copy and paste, rather than any 3rd party software. The player is on v7.0 which according to their website it the latest version. It's a shame because it sounded pretty good in my cans, but the out-of-order album plays would drive her (and me) crazy.- mammoth1981

What the hell? When I select a track from folder view, it assigns it a track number based on whatever bizarre rules it uses to organise tracks. For example, the folder shows the tracks in some random order, so I scroll down and select track 1, but then in the play window it shows that it's...- mammoth1981

xDuoo X2 - small lossless player with microSD and OLED!
I just got one of these for my partner, she wanted a cheap mp3 player for her birthday. Before I give it to her I thought I'd have a play around and try to get to grips with it. It seems straight forward enough, but in folder view why are all my tracks in the wrong order? The tracks have numbers...- mammoth1981

Knowledge Zenith (KZ) impressions thread
I ordered a pair of KZ ED2 from an Aliexpress seller for less than $9 (incl shipping) on the 31st of October and they arrived yesterday. They're ridiculously good earphones for the price. Volume imbalance between channels, a possible fix?
I just took received a pair of headphones from China and whilst they sound great, I'm having a little trouble. I noticed that the left headphone was rather a lot louder than the right so decided to measure the resistance at the end of the cable. The headphones are rated at 32ohms, and whereas...- mammoth1981

Somic EFi-82 MT: Believe the Hype
My favourite chinese vendor (fasttech) just got both in stock today. I went with the MM163 mostly for the detachable cable and slightly less garish colour scheme. the reviews of the MM163 are good too, likened somewhat to the m50 from AT. I am tempted to grab both though after seeing this...- mammoth1981

I've been out of the loop since 2006, where to start for a £100 mp3 player?
Cheers heatofamatch :) I would have read your hour long reply anyway, but I appreciate your summarised response too. It looks like in my price range I can't do much better than the Sony, and since it's currently available in Argos for £30 cheaper than everywhere else (including amazon...- mammoth1981
