How much difference will a high-end DAC make?
In my opinion, no difference. Although I haven’t reached 2k+ on DACs, I never heard a difference. I settled with a DAC that measured well and cost within reason. I don’t think you need to spend a lot of money on a DAC. Focus more on the headphones. Maybe my ears are not gifted idk.- Tinola

Diana: the second release by Abyss Headphones!
As someone who is still on the fence getting the Diana V2, I have a question about Jude’s measurement and I hope it’s not out of line. Is Jude the 3rd party that Abyss is hiring for the headphone measurements? Shouldn’t it be someone who is not being sponsored directly by the headphone company...- Tinola

Wow congrats on the lovely Ziricote B-stock! I’m enjoying mine just as much as you are. Currently missing mine since I am 7000 miles away from home. I cant wait to listen to them again! Oh and by the way, the JDS atom is such a very capable amp that drives the Verite with no hesitation! Would...- Tinola

So, I removed the universe pads to try out the Verite pads not knowing that there is a L/R designation for the universe pads(After reading the VC thread). Is there a way to tell? I'll mark it off once I figure it out.- Tinola

Thank you! Yep, they are copper grills. I can't wait until they patina! My unit are actually B-stocks but I couldn't tell that they are. That is why I was able to get the copper fittings for the headphones. I believe when Ziricote was the LTD wood, the copper and rose gold fittings were not...- Tinola

Just received the Verite in Ziricote tonight. All I can say is that wow, the bass is great on these. The detail is unreal and the soundstage is pretty wide. These are easily the best headphones that I have tried. Great work, @zach915m !!! The attention to detail you put in each of your...- Tinola

The sealant does dry out eventually. I've been topping off every 2 months or so. I never remove the dried rubber in the tire since I'm lazy and I'm not the weight weenie type either.- Tinola

Good luck! Definitely experiment on the tire pressure. And regarding tire sealant, I've had great experience with Stans Race and Orange Seal(not the endurance). Apply 20-30ml and you should be good for a couple of months. Also, depending on your wheels, I suggest a pump strong enough to shoot a...- Tinola

I run 55 front and 60 psi rear and it's llike biking They have been working properly for me for the past 5 years. I've used 3 different tires (Specialized 2Bliss, Hutchinson Fusion 5 All Season, and Schwalbe Pro One). No issues with any of them. No tire blow outs. The nice thing too is that...- Tinola

Bicycle-Fi!
Oh wow I look forward to using the new Pro Ones. I've been running 28mm Hutchinson Fusion 5 All Season rear and 28mm Pro ones at the front since pro ones at 28mm inflate to 32-33mm with the 4.5ARs. I've experienced tire rubbing, so I decided to use the Hutchinsons, which have been perfect so...- Tinola

the 4.5 ARs are the best wheelset I've ever used. Tubeless or nothing! Tubeless has saved me from being stuck on the side of the road trying to inflate my tire. Also if there's a huge puncture, Dynaplug is my friend! I've only have had to use it once though.- Tinola
