Watches - another passion of ours, it seems...post your pics!
I've been waiting for this one to go back in stock, which seems to rarely occur. I only have one watch and need to expand the collection a little bit. Current and only watch:- Insilin1i

Headphone Sightings 2
Last week I saw a guy using Westone 4, this week I saw someone else wearing Westone 4. Pretty surprised seeing them that often, since they cost quite a bit. Other mentions are the Apple Earpods, and more Beats.- Insilin1i

I usually just walk into random classrooms and take them over but with such a large group I doubt that would be the best idea. Theres rooms like these which are $31 an hour. It really depends the type of room that people would want...- Insilin1i

From my limited experience I find that if I don't turn up the volume a little bit past the normal, rock music does seem to suffer.- Insilin1i

Best headphone under $200 for the college student. Portable, stylish, noise canceling, etc. What do you suggest?
I think IEM's would probably be a good fit. I don't think I would ever recommend noise cancelling headphones to anyone and if you want something that isn't bulky then IEM's are probably the best choice. For the type of music you listed I might recommend the Monster Turbine Gold's, I don't...- Insilin1i

You can probably just book a room at University of Toronto St.George campus, theres a few study rooms that would probably work out ok for a meet. My favourite for those familiar with U of T is probably the study room on the third floor of Pratt Library. Great view and sits about 15+ people...- Insilin1i

O2/ODAC and the Schiit Modi/Magni, though I have no experience with the latter so I can't really comment on if they are any good.- Insilin1i

Sennheiser HD650 & Massdrop HD6XX Impressions Thread
Well I'm very happy with the my new HD650's with O2/ODAC. Just one issue, is there a way to lessen the clamping force on these? It's gotten slightly better over the past week but after a few hours it starts to feel a bit fatiguing.- Insilin1i

Weirdly I always wear my Turbine Coppers around and never see anyone wearing them. Then the other day I saw 2 people wearing them in the same subway car. Glad to see something other than the apple earpods.- Insilin1i

iMac > ????? > HD 650
Well I ended up deciding on the O2/ODAC, just couldn't take such a big leap to the Asgard. Maybe in the future when it is easier to find in Canada. Should have my O2/ODAC sometimes next week can't wait to hear the difference. Coming out directly from my iMac the headphones sound rather weak.- Insilin1i

iMac > ????? > HD 650
I've changed my mind so often, I'm thinking I might just go for the Schiit Asgard now and then purchase the Schiit Bifrost. Then sometime in the future, when I want to delve into the world of tube amps I'll sell the Asgard and go for the Lyr.- Insilin1i

Ya, I understand what you are saying. It's all really preference. The only thing right now is I don't have a preference so far. This will be my first step into owning a proper dac and amp and these are going to be my first proper headphones. I don't want to get something that will...- Insilin1i

Quote: What are the differences between the Dragonfly and O2/DAC in sound quality. The Lyr is a little high indeed, if I were to get the Lyr now I would probably be 6 months to a year without a dac. I'm not sure how that affects the decisions. Thought I think I might just get the...- Insilin1i

iMac > ????? > HD 650
Well I think I'm going to go for the O2/ODAC but was wondering if any of you decided to try the DIY way and how difficult was it. I don't mind a little side project if it's something that is not to hard to pick up. The price difference is quite incredible. Edit: Actually it's like ~$100...- Insilin1i

Is the O2/ODAC combo something I could be happy with for a year or more with the HD650. I just can't afford to be upgrading equipment as often as some people on here :P, I wish I could though. That Schiit Lyr looks awfully tempting. Thanks for the replies, I appreciate it.- Insilin1i
