Getting "called-out" for not wearing the Beats
Beats are some sexy "thangs", they don't have the sound for that price range, but they are marketed better than any other headphone I own. I've brought my beyerdynamic DT990/250ohm to school with my FiiO E7 and proved to a couple people that beats are the most over priced pieces of crap ever...- NigForce

The Best Deal
Koss PortaPro's are great headphones IMO and they are around that price I believe. Definately portable, but not very stylish. They have a great soundstage, don't know about bass, but they will have threads up on them around the forums.- NigForce

Forza 3 Alright, this game is fantastic. You have great control of how you want the car to drive and there is a huge variety of cars to choose from. My xbox is flashed so I get free games. Having this game for free makes it that much better. Difficulty is nicely balanced as well. The texture...- NigForce

Speaker Pillows
I haven't used one, but for that low of a price I would definately try it. It looks like it will have a pretty bad sound quality, but for podcasts and similar things it should be great.- NigForce

Beyerdynamic dt990 vs dt770
You may want to check out the AKG K701s. With the right amp they are supposed to be amazing, I don't know if they are amazing for EVERY genre, but great headphones none the less. Quote:- NigForce

Need help buying headphones
the sr60 and 80s are the same other than cabling, the sr60i and 80i differ a little more. The 80i have better matched drivers. Most people say that they are better especially for a small price difference. So I would recommend getting the Grado SR80i. Don't forget the i.- NigForce

Need help buying headphones
Durability? Do you throw your headphones on the ground? The Grado SR60i are great headphones to start with, they are easily driven so an amp isn't essential. I own them as of right now before I upgrade in the next week! :D To me they are comfy and I can wear them for a decent amount of...- NigForce
