have you actually heard the samsung z5 and the sony flash players? how do they sound compared to the zen micro in sound and ease of use?

thanks for the advice guys, but two things. first i said no IPODS!!!! second i said that i really do want a hd model! but if i was going to consider a flash, what would you guys recomend?

i agree that a flash based would probably be the best choice, but i'm really need the larger capacity of a hard drive unit. also after the zen micro, i want something this time that is easy to use. that touchpad sucked!

I just came back from compusa where i was able to play with the new archos xs200 gb player. This baby is small, well at least a lot smaller than my beloved jb3, but how is it really? As far as the UI, i don't like it as much as my jb3, but it's usable. It's nicer than the UI on the archos 20gb...

I have been using the porta-pros for years, and recently decided that i would try the e2c's. well guess what, they sounded like crap in comparison. Muddy bass, and no high-end. I even broke them in over a week, and although they did get better, the porta-pros are MUCH better.
