Which would you recommend? M-50's or HD25-II's?

Thank's for the advice. Went ahead and ordered the HD25-II's (closed, no amp required, quite portable, interesting looking (in my opinion)), anyone know if the markings on the headband are removable? Love the look on the old HD200's but from what I've read here they seem to be quite crap. Cheers!

I see. What would you recommend? I have a Marantz amp at home but would like headphones that I could use with my laptop or ipod from time to time.

What about the K271 MKII's, would they be good without an amp and for my taste of music? I'm open for recommendations since these would be my first serious headphones.
