Battle Of The Flagships (58 Headphones Compared)
Yes I heard them for the most part at the meet a few years back. I also did hear the HD 800 at my grandfathers who had a Burson 160 connected to a Music Streamer II+ but most of my use was at the meetup I will admit. At the meet their was a number of different DACs hard to say.- Gatepc

Battle Of The Flagships (58 Headphones Compared)
Hey I actually appreciate that quick summary of differences there. That could come in handy! Thanks. The LCD 2s (1st revision) I heard did sound like they were warm in the bass area and although not exactly 100% neutral to my ears I thought they had a very fun sound and I don't know if I'd want...- Gatepc

Battle Of The Flagships (58 Headphones Compared)
Alright sorry guys, I just got back from working. Like I said everyone "Hears" things differently. I did think the HD 800s had a little more detail and a little more bass but that their house sound signatures where very very similar at least to my ears on the setups I tested on the particular...- Gatepc

Battle Of The Flagships (58 Headphones Compared)
@Rhamnetin the tubes were the Sasha Princess, I used the HD 800s on the Woo Audio a diy solid state amp (I'm sorry I don't remember the user here that made it it was at a meetup a few years ago. And the super 7 amp. I can elaborate more later I'm on mobile right now.- Gatepc

Battle Of The Flagships (58 Headphones Compared)
Wonderful write up, thanks for putting all this together. I do want to throw my opinion out there and I'll probably get stabbed for it but I must say that out of every headphone I've ever tested personally. The HD800's and the AKG K702s had the most similar sonic characteristics of any headphone...- Gatepc

Mini meet Sunday May 9th North Laguna Beach. One hell of a nice place for a meet.
I really enjoyed our last meetup, I however, no longer reside within California but Pennsylvania instead. I quite wish that I could attend, I hope everyone who goes has a lot of fun! Golden Ears's meetups are always great! haha- Gatepc

Join DUNU FB and reply to “Win” 2012 DUNU flagship DN-19 Tai Chi: Playable earphone with Booming Bass and Enhanced Recognition.
I am interested in the in the fact that you can change the sound with sound dampers. I also like the easy fatique idea because in some music a lot of the DUNUs tend to be a little bright. Not often but in some classic rock it can be a little bright. This would surely fix that. Like I said...- Gatepc

Rate The Last Movie You Watched
I watched MR.Nobody and have to say that it was one of the best movies I have ever seen in my life. It is so powerful and portrays so much about human nature and life. How choices effect everything and life goes on with or without you. Your just a insignificant piece of the universe but that...- Gatepc

Headphones that can be "fixed" with Equalizers
You can avoid this clipping by lowering the preamp in some software based EQs by how much your max DB boost is. For example lets say I'm using iTunes and have various bands set up on the EQ. My highest one is +3db, if this is the case you need to lower the db on the preamp by -3db and you won't...- Gatepc
