Mass Kobo Portable Amps
The 475 is more laid back and airy. The Brise is also significantly more powerful in output. I had both at one point and bought the mass kobo. Brise to me was like a mini ferrum oor, I can’t actually much difference while 475 had a signature of its own- tassardar

FATfreq Impressions Thread - Bass Cannons and More
I feel it has more to do with the quality of the source especially if you go from single ended to balance. I find the bass response to be sensitive to changes in how it is being driven. Not a night or day but there’s changes.- tassardar

LAiV Harmony R2R DAC Impression and Reviews
i tried so far it is very similar in terms of what to expect in terms of rendition vs other dacs. But is it exactly the same is hard to confirm since most amps have differences in bal and SE too.- tassardar

The Enleum HPA-23RM Discussion Thread
I will say if you can’t test it, it can be one hell of a roll. To me I used the Enleum and connect it to high end dacs, daps, iems and headphone. It isn’t always the best, but when it is, it’s untouchable and the gap is significant. Every other amp is more of this is alittle better here and there.- tassardar

FATfreq Impressions Thread - Bass Cannons and More
And for the most irresponsible amount of bass one can get, that will shake your world, Enleum HPA23RM just rams the whole bass to a level that actually made me get some ticklish feeling Also posted a unboxing and impression video.- tassardar

FATfreq Impressions Thread - Bass Cannons and More
It sounds pretty good. Kinda like how you plug it into most balanced DAPs. Balanced and clear with all the bass. It’s also powerful enough for this iem, where you don’t need to max it out to get the volume you need.- tassardar

LAiV Harmony R2R DAC Impression and Reviews
Actually debatable returns are a real thing. I’m lucky that where I am, almost any major or even obscure brand can be demoed and they let you bring your own stuff to compare. To me is if it makes no diff, I won’t be buying, if it makes a diff, I will try to turn the volume and compare. Sometime...- tassardar

FATfreq Impressions Thread - Bass Cannons and More
So today I went down the FatFreq shop and had a go with the scarlet mini. TLDR, I bought one in the spot and to get it real soon haha. Too excited didn’t take picture. So my aim was trying out scarlet mini and not because of being a bass head, but the opposite which is to listen to some of...- tassardar

Softears - Discussion & Appreciation
Yeah I went to read up alittle on it. But the important part really is the final sound which is rather unique as far as iem goes. So much so even though it’s a loaner unit to me to just do a quick impression and demo, I used it more then I should haha- tassardar

I got a chance to loan some Softears IEM to review from my local distro. Really love the Cerberus and made a first impression video on it comparing to some other IEMs I have. I like how the Cerberus renders vocals and is a delight to listen- tassardar

FiiO M23, AK4191EQ+AK4499EX, THX AAA-78+, Dual Type-C Ports, Dual-Core Fast Charging, 1000mW+1000mW @32Ω
Looks like an interesting player. Maybe I’ll head down to a local retailer to try this weekend haha. Always on the look out for something smaller, lighter but still as competent for IEMs. But hmm won’t a single AKM 4499ex be not a true balance (at least not at dac stage) since it’s a 2 channel...- tassardar

I think the AKM has a hand in it. The sound is actually quite similar to my experience using the DX300. The amplifier is also on the warmer side, mirroring those in the Enleum when I run it via line out.- tassardar

The Enleum HPA-23RM Discussion Thread
the 475 I definitely brighter then the enleum but its very minor. I tried the CMA 18 Master. It's a neutral amp dac thats well behaved. My impression was it was not any different from the M17 FIIO player, which means neutral and clean sounding with no standouts to me. Its closer to the tsuranagi...- tassardar

The Enleum HPA-23RM Discussion Thread
The 475 has a more laid back and airy signature with a bigger sound stage. The Tsuranagi I also played with it before, that is kinda like a portable ferrum oor in sound which is very balanced while having good attack and generally large sounding but smaller than the 475. It is probably the...- tassardar

The Enleum HPA-23RM Discussion Thread
It should improve mojo. In general I find it’s a general improvement compared to Hugo TT in certain parameters like power and bass extension. So the difference will likely be way larger if compared to Mojo especially when it comes to power related requirement. If you are using the mojo, the...- tassardar
