    Smallest ear tips?

I don't know whether they'd fit your IEMs, but klipsch XS ones work very well with my gf's narrow ear canals

Pioneer new DJ In-Ear Headphones DJE-2000 and DJE-1500

I no longet own a pair of 1500 as mines broke. The local Pioneer wouldn't repair them as they've phased them out apparently. Apart from no official support when they break, I would recommend these. To my ears, the isolation is great so I can listen at really low volumes from my ipod touch 3rd...

Panasonic CZs (HJE900) Appreciation Thread and Pending Review

I don't think they do well with running. Most IEMs don't tbh, unless they are water (sweat) proof, else they'd go bust very easily. Unless you live in the arctic or somewhere really cold.    I still use my white pair btw :3

Panasonic CZs (HJE900) Appreciation Thread and Pending Review

I am still using these. I love the zirconia housing's reflective metallic sheen, but most of all, the sound signature. In fact, my old pair broke as in one of the sides stopped producing sounds, so I bought another pair here on head fi, but in white (= Seeing the posts above, I wonder whether...

    Wolfson DAC smart phones

well, I didn't buy it based on that (incredible value at sub 265 USD with 1080p IGZO screen, 2GB of ram, snapdragon 600, 32GB of internal storage, sd card support and water resistance without flaps on the USB or headphone sockets; oh, and supports Qi wireless charging). I only found out about...

    Wolfson DAC smart phones

Sorry for the grave dig, but I thought it's quite relevant.    I bought this yesterday for my girlfriend as she dropped her aging smartphone phone in water.   http://www.sharp.co.jp/products/sh06e/service05.html   I see "wolfson" on it. Can someone please tell me what's this "LSI"?

Panasonic CZs (HJE900) Appreciation Thread and Pending Review

haha, yes. I got mines through the play.com deals back then when I was still in London, but they are still more expensive than the J&R sales a few years ago   Taobao really puts me off. The user interface, the payment system makes me uncomfortable )=

Panasonic CZs (HJE900) Appreciation Thread and Pending Review

In case there are any Hong Kong users of these amazing earphones experiencing the same problems as I did, here's a tip that will hopefully be useful.   I've been using my HJE-900s for a year non-stop, and one day the right earpiece just started to sound like stuttering, then would eventually...

    Monster Turbine vs Panasonic RP-HJE900

Definitely the Panasonics. I own the HJE-900, but not the monster turbines. I do, however, have a pair of Turbine Pro Gold (which I'm sure you know is more expensive) and I prefer the sound signature of the Panasonics more as they just seem to have more punch to it to. They are easier to find a...

    Monster Cable UK Warranty...?

So I have a pair of MTPG and the left earpiece stopped functioning. I remember reading somewhere in the head-fi forums that there's a Monster Cable UK rep around here. Or was I hallucinating...? I tried to do a search but there's too many irrelevant threads for me to trawl through. May someone...

    The Etymotics HF5 Thread

After reading a few threads and plenty of mind changes, I've finally ordered the HF5s because of a lot of positive comments and favourable comparisons to the ER4, price and understated but sleek looks.    Just coming off the ortofon eq7s (had them returned because it went pop in less than 3...

    Ortofon e-Q7 Impressions Thread

Quote: Hi, I recently returned a pair of eq7s because of a similar issue, though it's independent of the plug position in my case and the vox just seemed to have been taken away. I was sad to see these lovely sound IEMs go, but since I only had it for less than 3 months and such issues...

The Exploration of Metal and Progressive Rock

Korpiklanni is a big nono for me. it's really generic and it keeps recylcling old themes of drinking and stuff.   Amorphis's Skyforger is certainly a double yes with an exclamation mark. Their blend of folk, death and melodic metal is certainly unique and done very well with an amazing...

The Exploration of Metal and Progressive Rock

Dir En Grey is more J-Rock / Visual Kei / Alternative / Metalcore. I've seen some music videos by them on youtube a while back which were not bad, but listened to their latest output "Uroboros" and was very disappointed. It was certainly too soft compared to the stuff I saw on youtube, so I...
