Hidition NT-6 Custom IEM Review: The Ultimate Reference?
I have emailed Craig (from Whiplash Audio) about this, awaiting response. But at this moment I'm not sure it's is possible. The website is a bit a mess. There is a mention of the 2.5 TRRS option in the modular design but that's not Hybrid. My dreams might be shattered :-( I'll just wait...- Gurdipurdi

Hidition NT-6 Custom IEM Review: The Ultimate Reference?
I for one did not like the pairing of my NT6/Hybrid V3 with the Mojo at all. It always started great but then on some songs there was too much (I think/hope I'm using the right term here) sibilance. Also, the NT6 is already very good with details as well as the Mojo. But that resulted in...- Gurdipurdi

AM3 is on it's way from China, woohoo. Still need to get my Hybrid V3 fixed and equipped with a TRRS connection. Curious if I'll hear any difference with standard 3.5mm compared to the AM1. Will report later.- Gurdipurdi

Hidition NT-6 Custom IEM Review: The Ultimate Reference?
It's strange, when my NT6 first arrived, I liked the sound but I found it slightly to harsh, with FiiO X5. At that same time I found a used Whiplash V3 Hybrid, which I bought. Now my V3 is broken, and I switched back to the stock cable, now with FiiO X7. I really like the sound of the stock...- Gurdipurdi

Great review, Barra. Was surprised to read your pairing with the NT6 Pro. I returned my Mojo because of a pairing problem with my NT6. Major problem for me being a fatiguing sibilance after longer periods of listening.- Gurdipurdi

At that exact link. Hate to break it to you, but it was a temporary price reduction. At the times of posting I think it said, only 15 hours left. Could be more, could be less, but it definitely passed.- Gurdipurdi

Chord Mojo(1) DAC-amp ☆★►FAQ in 3rd post!◄★☆
Received my Mojo last saturday, I liked what I heard but after a week I came to the decision it's not the best match for my Hidition NT6. The sibilance is a tad to much. The NT6's are quite bright, after a week of receiving these somewhere in January I bought the Whiplash Hybrid V3 to tame done...- Gurdipurdi

Not that soon, :-P I have my biggest expensive ever coming up (a house, YOLO), otherwise it would already be on it's way :-D So as much as I am inclined to buy this, it would be very unwise a this point. Be give me month or so.- Gurdipurdi

Chord Mojo(1) DAC-amp ☆★►FAQ in 3rd post!◄★☆
I can't remember the last time (or even if) I wanted to do an impulse buy so badly. At this year's CanJam in Germany the Hugo was the best source for my NT-6. I planned on buying a new DAP (X7, Onkyyo DP-X1). But now I don't really care that much about usability/interface. I just want some Mojo...- Gurdipurdi

And again, why is it that all nuance is obliterated because of this price point? I as well am pleasantly surprised by this news. And I expect these products to fare well if they sound reasonably good and with that feature set. But statements about how this will be an product X- or product...- Gurdipurdi

I expect the X7 to be significantly better than the X5. For one, usability will be a major improvement ( or at least should be) with android and a touchscreen. Flexibility, with different amp-modules to drive IEM's as well as the big boys. And of course, I think it's fair to expect better sound...- Gurdipurdi

I think you would agree that each individual has it own needs. So, while a player without a screen suits your needs, it might and probably will not suit everyone's needs. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to hear (and maybe even own a Tera). But I cannot imagine that it would be my only DAP, same...- Gurdipurdi
