dt880 32ohm?
cheers guys. If I`m going to have to get a whole new set I might get the sa5000`s. Any body tried these from a intergrated amp? the cambridge 640a v2 jack has 10 ohms impedence, not sure bout the power rating.- dandare

hi, I`m using my dt880 250ohm version through my cambridge audio 640a v2 amp and find it under powered, is it true that beyer do a 32 ohm version? or could I upgrade the cable to lower the resistance? If not i`m looking at getting a sa5000 as it only has 70 ohms resistance so I should be...- dandare

D-ne10 dying. HELP!
managed to get into it, Seems ok a little dusty tho. I accidently pulled the pcb out of the bottom shell there was a resistor attaching the pcb to the bottom shell- I seperated them but the unit still works so I`m not sure what it does. Might be for grounding.- dandare

D-ne10 dying. HELP!
My D-ne10 has started Shutting down when listening, I get a loud Crack noise through the headphones then the battery is completely drained. does leaving amp on damage headphones?
just noticed that I can hear slight hissing through my phones when the amp is on at miniumum volume, will this damage the voice coils if I continue to leave it on when not in use?- dandare

intergrated amp jumpers
hi, I`ve just replaced the horrible u connectors on my marantz pm7200, Im using a dnm reson with bullet plugs, but the cable is 0.75m long. Will I notice an improvement if I shorten it? or buy some of the amp jumpers already on the market like the russ andrew kimbers, or robert schofield...- dandare

brasso ok for cleaning amp speaker terminals?
just cleaned my marantz pm7200 speaker outs with brasso, I have no idea what the metal is(looks a dull silver like a fuse end), so i`m not sure i`ve done the right thing. any body know if this is ok?- dandare

anyone not like the cardas caps?
I`ve been using the cardas caps for a few months now an am noticing the I`ve lost some of the high frequencies and some of the `air` to the music. has any one else found this?- dandare

er-4s treble
the only other phones I have are the d66 eggos and beyer dt231 which seem to have more `air` to them but I was guess that was because their headphones.- dandare

I`m using the tri flanges, i struggle to get a seal with the foamies. I`m using the er-4p with the s cable. I do notice the sound drops out when i move the s cable sometimes. I could be pushing the plugs in too far. the last flange is inside my ear just.- dandare

I always hear the er-4s have great treble and sparkle. But i`m finding mine have a recessed high end, no sparkle, And sound very closed in. They`ve been run in. I`ve changed the filters. To no success. Has anyone else had similar problems?- dandare

Hi, I`ve owned the E-10 md player for some time and think that it sounds ok, but do you guys reckon that a d-ne20 cd player would sound better? or should i hold out for a d-ej2000 on ebay? or stick with the E-10? Help me head-fiers!!- dandare

Are there any head-fiers out there who`ve had much experience in contact enhancers? I clean my connections in 99% Isopropyl Wipes is this a good idea? I`ve Been looking at Caig, Van Den Hul - The Solution, DNM Reson Licon, and Walker SST enhancers. Are they worth trying if so which would...- dandare

power cords
im using stock cables, on all my kit the cable seems very much attached to the unit, so i dont think i could upgrade to shielded cables. -

just a little question! i know its not good to have power cords too close to signal cable but does it matter if power cords are to close to each other. because my floors like a snake pit of power cords! if so what do you do to sort the problem out?- dandare
