Just so you know, I have both the N7 and N8ii. I don’t find them too similar. N7 sounds smoother and more tubey than N8ii in tube mode. Frankly, I don’t hear much difference between N8ii’s modes and wonder why Cayin didn’t make more contrast between modes.

I have now factory restored the M9 using the regular method and then through system restore. No matter, the M9 will not play Roon or Plexamp. I even reflashed the latest firmware. Anyone have any ideas how to do an even lower level restore?

Every time I sleep the player using the power button, sound doesn't come back until a restart. Anyone else having this problem? Also, no matter what I do, I cannot get a launcher to stay after reboot and I really dislike Quickstep but it keeps coming back.
