B&O H9 Discussion and Impressions thread
Hey guys, So grabbed an H9I from my local B&O. Here's my two second, blunt feedback - will likely report back after my Asian travels throughout the month of Feb. Remember, this is my feedback - 100% your mileage may vary. All 'tests' are in wireless mode (my main use). H9: I owned these for...- Speedv1

It has that feature. Haven't had that accidentally happen even once though, so perhaps it's been fine tuned?- Speedv1

B&O H9 Discussion and Impressions thread
Quote: Currently own both. Have owned the Momentums for ~8 months and the H9s for ~1 month. I recently went on a vacation and brought both. For volume the Momentums are quite a bit louder. I cannot not tolerate them on maximum for a second. The H9s are still (imo) much too loud...- Speedv1

B&O H9 Discussion and Impressions thread
So I popped by my local HIFI store today. I currently own a Momentum 2 Wireless. I like them but feel that more was to be had. I ended up trying a few different headsets and here is my quick feedback. Note that I have small ears - so the comfort levels may differ. Sony MDR1000x -...- Speedv1

Need a New Headphones and Bookshelf Speaker Amp - Possible?
Hey guys, It's been a long time since I've been here, but alas I'm back. My situation is as follows: I have a new gaming computer, that has a great built in amp (burr brown) so I intend to use the optical output from it as my source. What I need is an amp. It would need optical in, and...- Speedv1

Audinst-HUD-MX2 DAC/Amp
Quote: Not quite the same but I have the HD555 (modded to sound like HD595) which in this condition are said to be similar to the HD558/598 headphones, and they work well with the MX2. Everything tightens up, soundstage is improved ever so slightly (though the 555s are already notorious...- Speedv1

Audinst-HUD-MX2 DAC/Amp
Ok so a little more on it. I feel the sound has sharpened. The bass especially; impacts seem much more pronounced, I'm really glad about that! I mentioned that the highs were somehow bright before and they have definitely toned down. When I play my most sibilant song I can bare it without...- Speedv1

Audinst-HUD-MX2 DAC/Amp
Just got it. Immediate impressions are good, seems a detailed sound maybe a little bright, I won't say more on the sound until its burnt in (as it may well change). Now on the packaging I'm beyond impressed. Very nicely packaged box, includes the power adapter, USB connector, RCA...- Speedv1

Saw the email today of the discounted price and bought it right away. Had the MX1 before, sold it but in recent days have been thinking of going back, so I couldn't pass on this opportunity! Really like the USB iPad capability.- Speedv1

Ultrasone Fan Club! (Roll Call)
Sorry to the disturb the thread, however I thought I'd mention that my Edition 8s are for sale. Simply going back to IEMs; better for my purposes. Incredible phones, I just live a more mobile life and the fear of breaking $1000+ headphones hurts me inside lol. Here's the link.- Speedv1

1964 Ears
Not sure if anyone can help me here but I'm wondering how the 1964 quads compare to the ultrasone edition 8s. I have the latter and love them but am looking for a similar OTG iem. Cheers!- Speedv1

Ultrasone Edition 8
So curious guys, is there any IEM (or CIEM) that is anything like the Edition 8s' sound? I love these things and use them all the time but if I'm ultra mobile it'd be nice to have an IEM to use. I'm guessing no, but hey let's find out! Cheers.- Speedv1

Need Help Picking New Device!
I feel like I like a warmer sound. Bass is important to me, not overpowering, but present. Through reading reviews I'm thinking the Studio 3rd anniversary may be a good call for me.. Seems the sound quality is really good and a bit more prominence in the bass. My concerns about the "cool" sound...- Speedv1

Need Help Picking New Device!
I've been reading through that thread actually! I do enjoy bass, not bass head per se but a low end roll off would definitely not be my preference. Basically that means no ck4. How do you find the overall sound on the 601 versus the c3? I may be able to cope with the small screen, but ignoring...- Speedv1
