Panasonic CZs (HJE900) Appreciation Thread and Pending Review
I must have small ear canals because i use the smallest tip that came with the phones and it took a few days for me to get used to them/not hurt. The medium and large tip won't even begin to fit in my ear lol.- TouchOfEvil

Have anyone ever audition Beats by dre?
I heard a set on a demo setup. Honestly at full volume they were no were near LOUD to me. Even with the Loud button it was a average level to me. Of course i'm sure these setups are not all the exact same.- TouchOfEvil

Looking for phones with better bass than Ultrasone HFI-780's
Working on maybe getting a Little Dot MKV at the moment. Guess i can try that and the cheaper mods to the phones before i decide to move on to something else.- TouchOfEvil

They look nice, how do they sound in general? Do you lose alot in order to gain the extra bass? Comfort,isolation?- TouchOfEvil

Looking for phones with better bass than Ultrasone HFI-780's
They have not been modded in any way as of right now. The pads seem to be making a decent seal. If i push down to make them seal harder/the driver is closer i do get more bass but as for just sitting there without added force they can't seal any better/harder. Maybe my head is too small...- TouchOfEvil

Help deciding the best bass IEM for a "bass-head" with SQ, would like iPhone capabilities but not essential
I can only comment on IEM's i have heard but i love my Panasonic HJE900's. I love big bass and they bring the bass for sure. Also while having the big bass seem to balance fairly well at the same time. You can also get em from J&R FOR $109 plus shipping.- TouchOfEvil

Looking for phones with better bass than Ultrasone HFI-780's
I currently have a pair of HFI-780's. I had read that they had very decent bass but i'm not really impressed thus far. I thought maybe i didn't have enough power so i ran them to a integrated amp and they get louder than i can listen but the bass ommph just doesn't seem to be there. I'd say my...- TouchOfEvil

REVIEW (in progress) - Nuforce HDP 24/96 USB-Optical 24/192 Coax DAC Preamp and Headphone Amp
I have been searching amps.dacs for my Ultrasone HFI-780's. I was thinking about a Little Dot Mk V as a amp and then a dac but wasn't sure on which to get. While searching i came across this thread and it seems the unit is pretty decent. So i'm curious if this unit being used for both Dac and...- TouchOfEvil

Amp considerations and help with DAC for Ultrasone HFI-780's
Are the two amps i was looking at not SS? I thought they were.... Right now i'm using a integrated and honestly it seems to not have enough power for them. If i use the laptop they are not very loud and get distorted if i use the boosters. On the integrated they get louder by a little and...- TouchOfEvil
