Campfire Audio - SuperMoon
Just wanted to chime in about the sale. I'm kinda on the fence about buying and wasn’t sure how long this would last. They usually only do 24 hours for CIEM sales. I just emailed CFA and the sale is active until Sunday.- 1adam12

Just because someone is interested in listening to music in a 2-channel setup does not automatically mean they need or want a larger HT setup. And to blow your mind even more, I've also seen quite a few people with 2-channel HTs. Plug an Oppo into Freya and you'd have a cool little system.- 1adam12

Not really sure that'll work. You'd need something that outputs 12v DC to trigger the strip on. Edit: Here's a Furman sequencer I found earlier. It's probably the best solution I've found so far. https://www.amazon.com/Furman-M-8S-Power-Sequencer-Outlets/dp/B00KGI7BY4- 1adam12

Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up
I'm not convinced. Have you been to a Best Buy, Wal-Mart, Costco, Or Sam's Club lately? The number of soundbars I see vastly outnumber 5.1 setups. A soundbar wouldn't preclude the addition of a 2-channel setup. The only reason I wanted triggers was because I physically can't reach a...- 1adam12

Jason, Will Freya have a programmed self-check and start up sequence similar to Ragnarok? At the moment I'm using a wifi power switch for my Rag and I'm hoping something similar will work with Freya.- 1adam12

Heh. Sarcasm? I know that's the case for everything else, but I believe Jason has said that's not that practical for 2-channel equipment.- 1adam12

Not to be "that guy" but I really do hope that the remote for the 2 channel stuff has an on/off function. It's my biggest gripe with gear from some of the smaller brands. I'm currently using a WeMo wifi switch on my Ragnarok and it's not the greatest experience.- 1adam12

It's the color of the outer sleeve. The translucent black is like a smokey grey color. You can probably find an example in the pictures in this thread.- 1adam12

Yeah, I always knew that an upgraded phono stage was probably going to be necessary. I'm guessing I'm going to need 65-70db of gain. Adding a SUT is probably a good mid-term solution; thanks for the suggestion.- 1adam12

Sad day. I just upgraded to a moving coil phono cartridge and I think my Mani isn't supplying enough gain. I have to crank my Ragnarok to 3 o'clock to get a decent loudness. So count me in if Mani Uber ever happens.- 1adam12

Sound editing programs close to Tempe, Arizona?
Berklee and Full Sail are fairly popular schools that offer online audio production certificates and/or degrees. But I do agree that the MCC program might be worth checking out.
