So what would you use to work out whether the Miracle and iPhone go well together? Or is it just subjective?

The iPhone 4 has an output impedance of 0.9 ohms. Does that mean it'll sound awesome playing the miracles?

Think I'm about to sell my Miracles. Sad, but at least my wallet will be OK.

Great post, albeit badly timed, I already bought the Miracles. Haven't re-shelled them yet, perhaps I'll sell them off then, sounds to me like an amp is a must have. Thanks for the post, and I welcome any more opinions.

NuForce NE-700M, speaker keeps breaking, costs me £20 to get it through customs every time, not even returning it this time as I just KNOW it's going to break again. Massive waste of money in the end, and the sound quality isn't even great.

I let them dangle from my neck, while using the supplied clip to keep 'em from slipping. I don't really want to carry anything else, as I only use IEMs because they're small and very portable, I'd just get some full sized cans otherwise.
