    Upgrade IEM from SF3 for ~$150? PFE, Atrio, Custom 3, C751, RE0, Turbine?, W1?

If it is not too late. look at Fischer Audio DBA-02. And I think SA6 is the best from your list.

Headphone Reccomendation (Tight, Loud, Punchy Bass)

ATH-M50 have good but not detailed bass. Ultrasones is exactly what you described.   So +1 for Ultrasone. 750 Pro is the best bet.

    Review! Fischer Audio's FA-004

Quote:   Yes.   Yes. FA-003 is too relaxed ,too flat. Bass is much less punchy and deep. Sound is not as detailed and crisp. For my taste Ultrasone 2500 Pro is the best headphones I heard. Deep punchy bass. Cristal clear and transparent sound. Sparkling treble. No sibilance...

closed, comfortable, unamped recommendations in 2010 for <$200?

+1 for ULTRASONE HFI-780   or HiFi580(less bright and sharp)   Fischer Audio FA-003 is another good contender. Great soundstage, neutral sound and exellent comfort. But they have big cans(not for pillow, I guess).

aleXmod DAP vs Pico DAC/amp vs Clip vs iPod vs iPhone

It is much better then Nationite S:Flo 2 amped and unamped. AleXmod is bright, powerful and rich sounding. It sounds more aggressive and bright and a tad simpler than HiFiMan HM-801. My rating is HiFiMan HM-801>AleXmod>=Sony PCM-D50(too sterile to be thrilling). AleXmod-fun Sony...
