I use xlr to rca adapaters on my kgsshv since my source is single ended.  Can't really hear a difference...  You should be fine.

So I'm thinking we'll go ahead and start things up around 11am.  The location will be at the Los Gatos house.   Also, we have a bbq out back so bring some meat or side dishes and we'll serve it up!

I think May 4th would work well for me.  I have a wedding on Saturday 3rd so will be busy all day.

I'll attend this one.  I have 2 houses we can use.  Millbrae or Los Gatos.  the lg house is bigger and parking much better.  Millbrae has good space but parking is kind of tough.

I've used those caps before but only because the polymers were sold out one time..  I don't notice any difference other than the nichicons won't fit into the small hammond box without some reworking..  why would you want the caps sticking out of that neat enclosure?

Ya it was cool meeting you Wiatrob.  With all the awesome gear there the CTH was definitely overshadowed. I was very impressed with the liquid fire though!

quick follow up regarding the massive hum at higher volumes.  turns out its the tubes!  after swapping in some new ones everythings' great!  still undecided on what tubes I should put in this guy... I've got 6922 JAN and russian 6n6p..
