I wanted a more agressive sound and still have the mids and bass that the lcd's had and the he400 is bang on. Then you need to upgrade your amp, dac.....

True but I sold the LCD's and another headphone so I'll still have some change back if that makes a difference lol.

I just tried another music player and now instead of listening at 5 I can listen at 3 o clock with the new player. So it doesn't restrict volume as much but it must be my dac. Getting another dac within a week and hopefully that'll solve my problem.

I have tried plugging my dac into all of the ports and no difference.

I just tried connecting my Magni to a cd player and now I can't get it past 11 so it was definitely the source. I meant Planars lol. Now how can I get more volume out of hooking it up to my computer? I currently use Media Monkey.
