Best Smartphone for audiophile
Hey guys, back here with some great news. It's been about 3 months since I have bought my LeTV Le1 PRO (X800+) and I am more than satisfied with it. Tweaked the OS a bit here and there (mainly to get rid of Chinese stuff), but it's great. No menu lags, no restart issues, no bad signal or call...- asmileforyou

Best Smartphone for audiophile
Hah, indeed the US model is poorly supported by LeEco :( WiFi strength is okay (not best in class but also not the worst). I'm running the latest 5.8.018S CN rom (Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow) and so far everything works as it should. Regarding heat, it does get a bit warm from time to time, but...- asmileforyou

Best Smartphone for audiophile
I personally own the LeTV x800 (Chinese model) and I can tell you that audio quality is great. It's cheaper and smaller than LeTV x900 and the difference in sound quality should be negligible. Also it has really nice specs with that 2K display, 4GB ram and Snapdragon 810. Battery life is also...- asmileforyou

Best Smartphone for audiophile
Does anyone know what ESS dac LeTV Le One Pro (X800+) has? It's advertised as LeTV-HQ7A chip, however I'm curious if it's the same model as the one used in LG V10.- asmileforyou

Best Smartphone for audiophile
Hello everyone! Just received my LeTV Le One Pro (X800+) from China. It came with EUI 5.0 (Android 5) and I've updated it to EUI 5.8 (Android 6). Before this I had an iPhone 5. Really good phone, nothing to shout about, just that it became a little rusty when it came to performance and every day...- asmileforyou

USB Audio Interface Recommendation
I've got the EMU 0204 and it sounds great. I use it with my Yamaha HS80M pair of monitors and I am satisfied. I guess the EMU 0204 sounds a bit better than 0202 and I recommend it over 0404 because of newer drivers that work great on Windows 7.- asmileforyou

USB Audio Interface Recommendation
I have connected the monitors using TRS cables , and then they are connected using a TRS-to-3.5mm jack connector. I made a photo with my camera so you can see exactly how they are connected to my Transit usb interface.- asmileforyou

USB Audio Interface Recommendation
OK, so I will stick with my current M-Audio Transit. I've read about the upcoming Asus Xonar Essence One...it looks promising...I don't know what to do...I'm not willing to spend more than 200$-250$ on this. Is there something (other audio interfaces on usb) that will make a diference in this...- asmileforyou

USB Audio Interface Recommendation
I've had for several years some Altec Lansing MX5021 2.1 speakers. They were quite nice and for me they were a best-buy at that time. Since I had felt that they could sound better with a dedicated sound card, I had bought an M-Audio Transit, USB powered audio interface. The difference was...- asmileforyou

Which computer USB sound card?
I have an ALC888 too and I recommend you to stay with your current on-board audio unless you have enough money for an USB EMU 0404 or better. Only then you will notice an improvement in audio quality. You should also have a good pair of speakers or some nice headphones if you'll want to notice...- asmileforyou

Recommended .avi to .mp4 converter
You can give a try to Media Coder. It's an free multimedia converter, supports a lot of audio/video formats and codecs, and most important, it has very good performance, especially on multiple core PCs and has also a 64-bit version. It has a lot of options, so you may have to accommodate at...- asmileforyou

Ok, I'll make some further research regarding usb audio interfaces, and if I won't find anything else I'll probably stick with the Transit. Thanks for your quick answers- asmileforyou

Need help in choosing an USB Audio Interface/Sound Card
The main purpose for the external USB sound card will be music playback. I do not intend to do recordings, so that will be let's say a bonus feature for me, but I mainly want a clear (better resolution, fidelity) playback of lossless audio. I am sure that my on-board audio is the limiting factor...- asmileforyou

Need help in choosing an USB Audio Interface/Sound Card
Hello guys. I've got a MSI notebook which has the integrated ALC888 codec. I found out (by listening to my personal collection of lossless music and by doing an RMAA test) that my current (integrated) sound card isn't enough for both my headphones and speakers. Now I want to buy an USB audio...- asmileforyou
