Objective2 Mini-Review and Discussion
Good to read another review :D And no, people have definitely not forgotten about the O2. The group buy has well over 200 separate orders now so I think October will be the Month of the O2 as the majority of the GB amps get built and reviewed.- Olli1324

So, the Objective2 headphone amp - designed entirely around the measurements? (PLEASE READ RULES BEFORE POSTING)
A little note about the group buy... Tomorrow is the last full day before the GB closes and the order is placed. Please make sure that your order is placed in time so that you don't miss out. Also, if you haven't paid yet then please make sure that you check the online spreadsheet and...- Olli1324

Review: NwAvGuy's O2 DIY Amplifier
Quote: Just to keep everyone in the loop here - the GB will end on the 31st. The prices are indeed very low and we should be able to shave a dollar or two off the price for US/CAN orders owing to the fact that I am currently in talks with a US distributor.- Olli1324

Quote: It will be in the same box as the DIY version. There really isn't much scope for reducing the size of the enclosure.- Olli1324

Crikey, didn't see this thread here. I just thought I'd pop over to mention that I am indeed hosting a group buy. It will be ending at the end of this month so don't dawdle - get signing up! I've noticed one or two head-fi members have already placed some orders :) For those who want...- Olli1324

Audeze LCD-2 Orthos
Currently have my B22 powering my LCD-2s listening to Alice in Chains MTV Unplugged. Absolutely unreal. So, so good. I don't like to think about the cost of getting here, but now I'm here I ain't looking back...- Olli1324

Audeze LCD-2 Orthos
Aha, well I play around with the cable and my HD650s and it seems that the amp I am using has developed a problem with the socket...... on the day of my LCD-2s arriving! Bloody annoying. The only other amps I have are mini jacks and I think I have an adapter floating around somewhere so I'll see...- Olli1324

Audeze LCD-2 Orthos
Er... I'm a little worried. I tried them on briefly earlier and then left them running in for the day and am now back listening to them. The music is only very, very quiet in the left ear, and if I listen very carefully to only that cup, I can sometimes hear slight distortion. Am I...- Olli1324

Audeze LCD-2 Orthos
Got mine today! Currently listening to Norah Jones on them. Can't wait to listen on my B22 though (still building that). Listening through the headphone out on my Maratnz PM6002 I can tell that these are a step up from teh HD650s. I can't wait until some proper amplification because I have a...- Olli1324

Audeze LCD-2 Orthos
Just acted upon the payment request email (which I received on the 24th October 2010, but didn't want to buy at that point in time). The delivery estimate is 1-2 weeks priority airmail (to the UK), although I do not know if my delay in paying will delay my order. Quite exciting - I kind of...- Olli1324

Double blind test 128Kbps vs lossless? I'll be amazed if you can tell much difference
Ah, I didn't realise that the 128 converted to wav would have come up as 1411. Anyway, I couldn't tell a difference at all.- Olli1324

y1 gamma-1 DAC
I don't know if this is the right place to put this, but it seems a good place to me. I seem to have ordered a 33nF capacitor for C19D instead of a 22nF. Has anyone got a spare one that they can stick in an envelope and post to London? I can cover costs with PayPal. I can't believe I...- Olli1324

AMB y1 configuration and costs
Not specifically what you want, but it may entertain you. My y1 SPDIF only (inc. wallwart and exc. B2-080 case) cost a smidgen over 50 quid. My y1+y2 inc. wallwart, box, everything cost 135 quid. Note that I am drilling the panels myself; so I have not bought AMBs nice professionally made...- Olli1324
