Ultimate Ears Triple Fi 10 Thread
I just got my TF10's after losing my Super Fi 5's. Honestly they sound pretty similar with the 10's having a little better clarity and the 5's having a little more "punch". Both are great though. The only downside is that I must use the comply foams as I have small ear canals and none of the...- CosmosMpower

Brainwavz B2 Impressions & Discussion Thread
Yes I was referring to the Brainwavz Betas. I understand the technology is completely different but is the sound quality really 4-5X better or is it a case of diminishing returns? Quote:- CosmosMpower

[Review] Brainwavz Beta (V2), Sound Quality Comes First
I got my pair of Betas today in the mail. Lost my UE SuperFi Pro 5's and needed something to hold me over while I research a new pair. Initial thoughts, not bad for the price (27 shipped) but nowhere near as good as the UE's. Build quality is suspect and not much bass but overall good...- CosmosMpower

How much better are the B2's than the Betas? Obviously the price is worlds apart but is it a case of diminishing returns or are they really 4-5X better?- CosmosMpower

I'm looking for IEMs for $50 or less
About to pull the trigger on either the Beta or M1, what are the differences? Looks like the M1 has a much nicer cable, any other differences? Which ones are more comfortable for small ear canals?- CosmosMpower

Lost my SuperFi 5 Pro's, What to get next?
Thanks that is an amazing thread and an overwhelming amount of info. The chart at the bottom is especially useful for a starting point to then go read the reviews. So far I'm thinking about Jays Q-Jays (for the small fitment size) Westone 2 Anything else to consider in that...- CosmosMpower

Lost my SuperFi 5 Pro's, What to get next?
Quote: Thanks, I'll check out the 600's. Is the sound quality/build as good as the SuperFi Pro 5's? The price range is quite affordable. Any other brands to consider? Just from a quick browse on the board it seems like the Brainwavz brand is pretty popular?- CosmosMpower

Lost my SuperFi 5 Pro's, What to get next?
I'm not a huge audiophile but I appreciate good quality. I bought a pair of UE SuperFi Pro 5's about 3 years ago and they've served me well. I seem to have misplaced them and I'm looking for a replacement. I was happy with the sound quality of the UE's but they were too big to stay and seal...- CosmosMpower

Aftermarket tips for UE Super Fi 5 Pros?
I actually found some leftover silicone tips from my Sennheiser CX200's that work great. I had to stretch them a bit over the larger bore of the UE's but they are the right size and about 1 size smaller than the smallest UE's.- CosmosMpower

Aftermarket tips for UE Super Fi 5 Pros?
I think that's part of the problem. The nozzle/bore thickness is a bit larger than some other brands so even with the smallest UE tips I have to cram them into my small ear canals. Can I use tips from any other brand (sennheiser etc) that have the same bore size but overall smaller diamter?- CosmosMpower

Aftermarket tips for UE Super Fi 5 Pros?
Does anyone know if there are aftermarket tips available for the UE Super fi 5 Pros? Even the smallest ones they provide don't fit well. The dual flange are the closest to working but still fall out quickly when I'm jogging etc. I need something even smaller that will stay in my ear.- CosmosMpower

Good IEM's with smaller ear buds?
Thanks guys. Does anyone know if the IE8 is the same size physically as the IE7? I can pick up either at a great price as Sennheiser is one of my clients.- CosmosMpower

IE8 an upgrade from UE SuperFi 5 Pros?
Thanks for the responses. One of my main complaints with the UE's is that they are just too big for my ears. I have to cram them to get them to stay and they fall out within 5 steps when jogging. Are the IE8's smaller? I have small ear canals I guess.- CosmosMpower

Good IEM's with smaller ear buds?
I'm looking for some IEM's with smaller ear buds (not sure if that is the correct technical term). I currently have UE Super Fi 5 Pro's but even with the smallest tips they are still too big for my ear canals. I have to really smash them into my ears to get them to seal and then if I jog they...- CosmosMpower

IE8 an upgrade from UE SuperFi 5 Pros?
I currently have some UE SuperFi 5 pros for general listening and travel. The sound quality is pretty good (I'm not a big time audiophile). My main issue is that the tube of the earbud is too big for my ear canal so even with the smallest tips I still have to cram them in to my ears pretty hard...- CosmosMpower

Found Ultimate Ears Clear Cables
First post here, hopefully this helps someone. I recently broke the memory wire on my Super Fi 5 Pro's and looked everywhere for some clear replacement cables.
