I find that my tinnitus is related moreso with the volume of audio rather than the FR. I use westone's which have huge amounts of isolation (imo), and it seems like the ringing is significantly less due to the fact I don't have to blast music to overcome outside noises.

      No dice, audio still freezing. If it helps, it also happens when switching youtube windows or to be honest, opening/switching between any window might glitch the audio

Does anybody have issues with audio glitching/freezing when switching application windows? i.e. I'm listening to something on WMP/foobar, then when I switch to chrome, I have a 2 second freeze on audio. This is also happening a lot when I'm watching a video on VLC or GOM, AC3 audio or DTS

  I believe they use MMcX connectors - most of the new shure earphones use it, the UE900, and probably a couple more. The red/blue are VSD3s from my knowledge

  Seems like the new standard (MMcX I think) - even the new Westone's have it. Durability seems to be related to the model although, not the design itself (but I could be wrong)

Even after 3+ years, this thread is still going strong, and still the only IEM I lost, which is a shame because they were pretty damn amazing.

If the ES700 have the same cup size as the ES7, the HD-25 velour pads fit.

I found that the M-duo's require a bit of power to sound nice - my HTC one makes it sound really thin. And for the hissing, it might be that the M-duo's are more sensitive than the panasonics.

May I ask what source/player you're using?

In that case, they could technically do an entirely separate product/reward (and maybe even a separate kickstarter project)? 

It's the fact the adapter was not designed for the TRRS plug (a few things designed for 3.5mm TRS dont work well with TRRS headsets in general - depends where they put their ground pin)   I used a small 3.5mm to 3.5mm extension cable and problem solved for me.
