MEE Audio Pinnacle P1 - $199 Dynamic Driver Flagship *Reviews 2nd Post*
So I've had these earphones for about a week. I have to say there are probably the best built headphones I've purchased yet. The second cable without the mic is phenomenal. After using a custom iem for the past year, my ears can't get along with the fit. As far as the sound, maybe I didn't burn...- hk1388

Hifiman: Terrible experience with RE-400i and the company's customer service
I think you would still have to send to Hifiman for any repairs. At least I had to when my RE400 cable started messing up.- hk1388

InEarZ (Fisher Hearing) Custom Remold Owner's Thread
I've never had good experiences with memory cables in general. I hate having to play around with cable to get it in a good shape every time. I may have some weird ears because the memory part doesn't feel secure behind my ears although it rarely falls off. Phonak PFE 022 (and others in that...- hk1388

Beyerdynamic T90 Discussion and Support Thread
I sold my T1 a while ago and never used them with the T90, just DT990. I used the Amperex Orange Globe and they were pretty good from what I remember. Not sure how well they would pair with the T90. I would recommend asking your question in the T1 thread. Although I never tried it myself, I...- hk1388

InEarZ (Fisher Hearing) Custom Remold Owner's Thread
Got my remolded IM02 last week. Been enjoying them. The fit is pretty much perfect. I really like the cable. However I really hate memory part of the cable. I tried searching around, but the cables I found had memory wire or was expensive. Does anyone have a recommendation for a...- hk1388

Hifiman IEM's: RE-400 and RE-600
I've had two pairs. The first one were bought brand new. The plastic part that goes into the housing started falling off. Hifiman replaced it. Started happening again. Didn't bother getting them to replace it and I eventually lost them. Bought the second pair in the F/S section in excellent...- hk1388

I mean if I wanted to get some aftermarket cables, what type of cable would I need. I'm reshelling Audio Technica IM02 and I would prefer to not use that cable. From looking at the pictures in the thread, almost all of the reshells look like they use UE cables but I wasn't sure.- hk1388

Does Bose IE2 and MIE2 sound better than MIE2i and SoundSport?
Not sure. Why don't you buy both from Amazon (or whatever retailer has them) and return the one you don't like?- hk1388

Review of Audio Technica ATH-IM01, ATH-IM02, ATH-IM03, ATH-IM04, ATH-IM50, & ATH-IM70
Just got the IM02 yesterday. Sounds pretty good. The housing is significantly larger than what I'm used to (Phonak 022 and re-400). The memory cable is almost as annoying as the Sony MH1C flat cable. Just curious, has if anyone has reshelled the IM02 or any of the IM0x series?- hk1388

Beyerdynamic T90 Discussion and Support Thread
Interesting. When I had the HE400, the mids did not sound natural to my ears with the stock earpads or the focus pads. It was one of the reasons (along with comfort) why I went to the HD600.- hk1388

T90 is better is just about every way from what I remember. Bass (quality, quantity, and presentation) are better. There is more treble on the T90 and increased clarity. Mids are about the same with maybe a slight edge to the hd600. Wish I could provide more detail, but it's been a while. You...- hk1388

Valhallatier is right. It is the light. I took the pictures at night using a Canon FD lens on a Samsung mirrorless camera. I couldn't adjust the shutter speed so the pictures with flash looked weird. Will update the pictures when I get a chance.- hk1388

Beyerdynamic T90 Discussion and Support Thread
Thank you! Take this with a grain of salt because this is all from memory. The HD600 does vocals better than the T90 and the HE400. There is more body to the midrange than the other headphones. The mids are good on the T90 too. I'll put them slightly below the HD600. My biggest problem...- hk1388
