    Sennheiser HD650 & Massdrop HD6XX Impressions Thread

I just went balanced HD650 (see sig). So when I discovered Pokemon when I was a little kid in grade 4, I ran home and downloaded that no$gmb emulator and tried to play the game. I encountered this memory problem that crashed the game right as it started. I was heartbroken. For the next 5...

APureSound: The Ultimate Cable Manufacturer Introduces The V3 Headphone Cable

Just a quick question: How durable is the super nylon? I guess being lighter and more flexible is a plus, but if it is easily torn later on I might as well stick to normal sleeving.

    Woo Audio Amp Owner Unite

I'm considering a WA6, but I'm taken aback at the cost of the tubes. If the Sophia burns out every year or something I'm spending $150 on upkeep. I have the EF2, but the tubes for it are like $20 bucks a pair. Am I drastically underestimating the lifespan on tubes?

    D2000s without the harsh treble

I don't know why, but all of a sudden the treble on the Denons are beginning to bug me. It's becoming very fatiguing to listen to. I've had these for more than a year and they've been burned in for a while now, so I know the sound isn't changing. Can anyone recommend headphones (<$500) with a...

How are the M Audio av40s?

I just gotta say, I've owned both the KRK RP5 G2s and the M-Audio BX5a Deluxes and I liked the KRKs a lot better. I didn't use them for mixing music, but for listening pleasure the BX5as was unimpressive. I found the treble to be very harsh, while the KRKs very silky smooth.

    Musiland Monitor 02 US

Can someone tell if me if the 02 can handle 5.1 output? Right now I use headphones and a 2.1 setup, but I'm considering expanding to 5.1 in the future. If I grab a receiver, would I be able to passthrough 5.1 over the Musiland?

Zero DAC vs. Sub-$150 Sound Card

Hi all, Can anyone comment on the sound quality of a Zero Dac (default opamps, first version) versus a sound card in the sub $150 range? Here's the thing, 2 channel speakers don't really do it for me and I love being immersed in a surround setup. Right now I have a set of D2000s running...
