Wait you're saying your HE-400S (or do you mean HE-400) have way more bass? My HE-400S have very average bass and no sub bass even with Focus Pads swapped on

Hey, I'm sorry if this has been answered somewhere already in this forum but my Google fu is weak. I was wondering if anyone knows of a good place to buy a replacement tube part for Sennheiser IE8s, the part of the headphone that sticks out and you put the tips on.

I bought them through Dakmart's ebay store, would that affect anything chance I have at a Warranty?

I just got my IE8s from Razor Dog Deals and now I'm sure the ones from Dakmart are fake, they sound completely different. I'll probably try that Warranty option.   EDIT: Yea, these sound much better, even at the lowest bass setting with the default earbuds, they have more bass than the fakes.

Sennheiser responded saying dakmart was an authorized reseller specializing in refurbished and b stock goods, what exactly is b stock? It looks like I'm going to have to call them.

Yea I'm missing the red bits and the R appears not to be angled, I'll try to get some pictures up.   I don't know if this is only in comparison to my previous X10s but the bass on these are decidedly underwhelming.

Weird, I switched the tips and let them burn in for a while and they sound somewhat better, still aren't convinced these aren't fake though, I'll probably buy a pair from razordogdeals just to compare, sucks for me as a poor college student though

I have contacted both Dakmart and Sennheiser, Dakmart insists that they are legit, however I find it hard to believe that these would have no bass whatsoever. In addition, the R and the L printed are printed straight rather than angled. Still waiting on Sennheiser's response.   Quote...

People are apparently big fans of the Search function here ^-^ Apparently the Sennheiser PX100s are popular and from my friend's PX200s I can attest they fold up and are pretty small, you might want to give those a try
