Any solution for iGrado ear hurting?
I've found that thinner pads (px100 may work) can reduce the pressure between the driver and the headband. I can wear mine twice as long now compared to new - due to wearing them in, and I'm using the stock pads, but the most I can take is an hour.- Dangermouse2003

If you need headphones and only have $14...these JVC's will probably blow you away like I was.
Spent half an hour listening to these just now, got them at an airport a couple of years ago. From my VDAC- WA6 they sound muddy with boomy bass, but it seems to depend on the song. Some songs sound really good considering they cost about £10. I'm more impressed with them from my home setup than...- Dangermouse2003

REVIEW: B&W (Bowers & Wilkins) P5 Headphones
I tried them out in a local hifi shop for half an hour using my x1060 walkman, comparing to my hd25s. I listened to a range of music; Master of puppets DCC remaster, Chris Rea, Dire Straits. I found the P5s quite treble focussed, and especially with Metallica's Battery, pretty harsh. Apart from...- Dangermouse2003

B&W P5 Headphones: An Unboxing of the Bowers & Wilkins P5 Headphones
Are the HD25s better sounding with the stock steel cable than the P5s? Is this because the senns isolate more (allowing you to hear more detail in noisy environments) or because they simply sound better in any environment? Also, how do the two compare for comfort? How long can each be worn...- Dangermouse2003

Is it possible for headphones to indent your skull...
I've noticed this before, when I had my 780s (among others). I think its the hair/skin that gets compressed, so it feels like a groove has been created. I wouldn't worry about it.- Dangermouse2003

B&W P5 Headphones: An Unboxing of the Bowers & Wilkins P5 Headphones
Personally, I wouldn't be considering the P5 if I didn't need isolation on my commute (never been happy with iem's comfort). Headphones like ESW9/10 would be fine if I didnt have to contend with train noise and street noise all the way to uni but unfortunatly this isn't the case. It always seems...- Dangermouse2003

New portable headphones and amp $700 budget
I liked the esw9 but it was too delicate (build wise) for me. I have heard the es10 is better built and scales well with an amp.- Dangermouse2003

Denon AH-P372 Review
Just got a pair today (again :P) and I really like them. Treble and bass are a bit exaggerated (I've eq'ed the treble/ upper mids down a bit). Mine are the black + silver cup/black pad version, and though I havent heard the grey pad version, these seem quite bright. I would agree they are a...- Dangermouse2003

anything as good as HD25-1 II?
You should try on some hd280s or srh840s, now they're ugly :P Isolation wise would be tough to find anything better. AT M50s sound better though. Beyer dt250s perhaps?
