Hi! Has anyone tested Susbara with the Moon Neo amp?

As I said,at last a matter of taste and synergies which the rest of the equipment. The Moon Neo 430 - LCD-4 experience is outstanding

In MHO, Moon 430 is the best amplifier for LCD-4. Of course at last may be a matter of taste but in my system It couldn't be possible to beat the Moon -up to now

Hi Ben, and what about bass department?; did they manage to keep the deep bass they got with HIFIMAN 1000? In electrostatic HPs it could be a rather difficult task ... 

According to my own experience, no clipping at all here using the Neo 430 with the LCD-4 (balance) I hope this info may be useful

  Yes, maybe you are right.  But IMHO the enjoyment starts with extended bass, follows with natural mids and ends with no piercing and/or analitical treble. Well ... the LCD-4 are not perfect of course, I know that, (which headphones are?) but for me music is fun and the LSD-4 give me just...

I had HD 800 and sold them. Now I have HD 800S, better,  but IMO I feel both are .... just boring, no extended bass, no music foundation, not engaging, rest asleep very soon. Not a problem related to my audio chain because I have a dCS Vivaldi dac + Neo 430 as amp. Different thing are the LCD-4...

Yeah ... that's true Here using the Moon Neo 430 in balanced mode ... really fabulous It's not just a matter of reaching the right volume ..... it's something else I can assure you .....

The HEK needs a lot of power to come to life and show all its potential You have the Moon Neo 430, so you must know this fact very well

I do not trust a review that doesn't talk on any lows and doesn't compare with other brand cans, sorry

Hi guys, anyone could say that the Utopias are better than the HiFiMan 1000? Better treble? better vocals? better mids? And the bass department? Haven't hear the Utopias yet but I think it's very difficult to beat the HEK in the bass region

Reference bass, for my personal taste of course, is the HE1000s . So, is Utopia bass in that level? That is the question ........

Thank you master for your point on the Abyss, may be they have good bass, better than the 800S but I agree that a rough treble in unbearable on headphones; that's the reason why I sold my original HD 800. I agree too about the LCD4 treble though I ' d liked it to be a touch less recessed in this...

The Abyss reviews I read report some possible congested treble with some records I don't know ..... because price is high...
