Solved it :o)   2 and 11 needed to be grounded. Seems like it works without resistor. I also used the super slim from Qables as shown in fig 2.  

Can any1 confirm that pin 3,4 is audio line out and 2 or 15 is ground on the Nano 6G.   Will it work with or only without resistor?

If you want to achieve the best reproduction from your CD's, buy a Cowon D2 instead of the Sony, as the Sony dosnt support FLAC I have been using a A829 with a Hornet and a pair of HD-25 for a month now, and Im satisfied with the sound, but lack of FLAC support makes me regret that I didnt go...

Hi everybody! Just received my NWZ-829 to be used with a pair of HD-25-I II and overall I'm quite happy with the sound, but more volume would be nice. I've been searching these forums for info, but it just leaves me more confused..... Is it waste of money to plug an amp in the HP jack...
