right now im using about a 20 foot long cable for my headphones   about 10 ft to the amp im using and then another 10 ft to the headphones maybe more   does this drastically reduce the quality of sound?

So i just bought my first good pair of headphones (senn hd 598) and want to start experimenting with amps. Right now im looking at the bravo v3 tube amp for $72 and the monoprice amp/dac combo for $89. My source would be my sound card (sound blaster z) Any advice would be great

trying to decide which have the best sound clarity for the best price, right now im leaning to the shure's but im also interested in the bose.   id use these headphones for intense workouts and leisure listening    thanks
