Sure, I hit the search and read that these pads unmodded slip right on Grados. But how, really? The 414 hole is 35mm and the diamteter of the cans which the have to fit is 54mm. This pad foam doesn't seem like it will take that amount of stretching. Help... me

As long as a headphones drivers aren't busted, is there any reason to be paranoid about the condition of the drivers? Is it as simple as either it's FUBAR or it's fine?

Are all DC RA-1's technically identical; i.e.has it ever been changed in any way? I recall reading something about the current stock of RA-1's being somehow different from those made years back -- I could definitely be mistaken, just checking to be sure.

Are the Superminis (I'm mainly interested in V4, maybe V5) dark, or bright, or more like neutral? Are they relatively transparent? How do they sound with Grados?

I think this is really SR325 teritory (more so than RS-1's, which for me gets the nod for allround use, though). I haven't heard, only read about MSP, and I am curious if they are the better performer in electro/high energy rock, compared to RS-1.
