I have a Tascam 246 four track recorder. It's a gorgeous instrument, but the headphone amp has a significant hiss that isn't tape noise. I was told that one 100 ohm resistor between the unit and each headphone would cancel the hiss. Does this sound right? Novice questions: are resistors...
