Which option will be best?  My portable amp/dac has a toslink input option.

The slim has the digital volume and the regular pico has more power. Size doesn't matter. What would you do? I can't decide. Does anyone have an ER-4 and a pico? Source is a 5th generation ipod classic.

I am a newbie getting ready to pull the trigger on one rig or the other. Has anyone compared the Little Dot balanced set up ss amp MKVII plus with LD DAC I to balanced HD650s ($770) versus Audio GD C2-C and DAC 19 ($1100) unbalanced on HD650s? I know the 650s are supposed to be better balanced...
