I want to start a system from scratch, but I don't know where to start.  I know almost nothing about what speakers/cables/etc. I need.  I currently have a computer with a soundcard I could use, but that's about it.      Thanks,   Joseph

Ok, so I asked for the d2000's for christmas. My parents ordered it directly from amazon. I opened them up today, and guess what? The right headphone piece was chipped off from the headband. I have to wait a week for my parents to get their money back. Anyway, since I am not getting the d2000's...

I just ordered the d2000 and re0. Is burn in necessary? Or can I burn in the 'phones by just regularly listening to them?

Which is better without using an amp?

I used to have some Shure IEM's but they crapped out on me, and I want to improve my audio. I listen to classic rock/rock/pop/alternative/indie. I also play many computer games, and would like your choice on a sound card also. Also I play some 360, and it would be nice to listen to my 360...
