Introducing HIFIMAN Susvara Unveiled: Elevating Audio Excellence!

wake up ,the same can be said about all products...the cost of development..labor,all sorts of overhead is what is responsible for the cost of these products...coca cola costs a penny an ounce apparently to retailers who then mark it up etc...this is so silly

Introducing HIFIMAN Susvara Unveiled: Elevating Audio Excellence!

oh yes, that is definitely the only way to judge a HP and make sure NOT to listen to them only to adhere to the harman curve or whatever

RAAL 1995 headphones, Magna and Immanis

to me RAAL HP's are made for tube amps and the Imannis is no different..the envy with upgraded tubes and the Imannis is truly special...spent the evening last night going through different musical genres and I was simply overwhelmed how good the combo was

RAAL 1995 headphones, Magna and Immanis

yesterday I mentioned my initial thoughts regarding the Imannis with the VM-1a..today I am taking it out for a drive with my envy...initial thoughts with the envy are it is incredibly dynamic...hits hard and is huge sounding...outstanding....it is actually a couple of clicks easier to drive the...

RAAL 1995 headphones, Magna and Immanis

the dynamic range is definitely high..I was listening to some steely dan and initially thought I had the volume too low but the swings are quite dramatic ...only on really hot masters with little or no dynamic range is it not the case...if you listen to oasis it starts loud and stays loud lol

RAAL 1995 headphones, Magna and Immanis

my question is why we waste so much time discussing these 2 guys opinions...everyone is entitled to an opinion and if they dont like the HP who cares honestly?.I have read 2 reviews thus far that go so far as to call the Imannis the best HP available now...I personally am not comfortable with...

    T+A Solitaire P planar magnetostatic

I owned the sol p for a while..liked it but it is very overpriced..if it retailed for 4k it would be a contender but at 7 k there are too many better

it is all subjective, I find I love the 300b sound

    HiFiMan Susvara

goes to show you how subjective this all is...I heard the HM1 and think the envy with upgraded tubes is far better..I am not saying it is so only that it is my opinion..in fact I liked my CFA3 better than the HM1...

The wait is over!!!! I got my Imannis this morning, big thanks to Danny!...I have had a few hours to give them a listen and here are some very quick and dirty impressions...First off I am listening with the VM-1a out of my chord dave/blu2 combo. RAAL 1995 headphones, Magna and Immanis

interesting, out of my VM from my chord dave/blu2 into my sr1a and ca-1a I always had to ramp up the volume on the dave...will be interested to see how it works out with the imannis tomorrow

RAAL 1995 headphones, Magna and Immanis

I must say I always assume that anyone who gives their opinion as to what is better is doing so subjectively...unless of course we are at the ASR site

Dan Clark Audio Stealth Review, Interview, Measurements

the envy as an amp alone is so much better than the 280 that is seems rather silly to use it as a preamp...in fact the envy has so much gain that I am kind of surprised you would need to do that....if it works for you god bless

    The Reference 6SN7 Thread

yes as a newbie to the tube world I find pricing somewhat frustrating since I see prices of tubes 10 times more than others simply because they are 50 yrs old etc...very tough to distinguish although pretty easy in the 300b world since there are so few top end contenders

The JPS Labs: Abyss AB-1266 Impressions Thread

98 pounds is simply too heavy for me to consider for a headphone amp..I dont doubt it is great but having to grab 2 buddies to help me move it doesnt work for me lol....my old mcintosh 452 power amp weighed a ton when I had my 2 channel setup..my envy is heavy enough, I think it is 33 pounds or...
