Sound Rhyme impression thread
Many Cirrus Logic DACs like SHIO. Probably most iBasso dongles don't hiss. E1DA 9038 got only slight hissing.- helloh3adfi

Best IEM tips?
First time I read about oily surface being good for seal? I think the tips lose grip when they're oily and it gets IEMs dirty more quickly.- helloh3adfi

SR8 are sensitive IEMs so on some amps it is to be expected. You could use ifi IEMatch or just another amp.- helloh3adfi

Truthear Impressions/Discussion
Truthear GATE is not bad at all! They're more sparkly and detailed than HOLA, which had too safe tuning. If a recording is bad, you should be able to hear it. On the other hand the GATE shells feel cheaper and less sturdy. Comfort is good and the smooth surface helps to get better grip.- helloh3adfi

AÜR AUDIO IEMs
Using Ascension with SPC cable without Graphene rn. Bass hits more than NP. I'm satisfied with bass on both. NP is more energetic in upper mids and treble, that's what I meant.- helloh3adfi

AÜR AUDIO IEMs
I'm using Pentaconn Coreir brass tips on NP and Ascension right now. They seal extremely well. NP becomes more engaging and is still not sibilant. Ascension get even more bass thump, but isn't as energetic as NP.- helloh3adfi

Didn't Yamaha plan to sell a non SE version of those headphones? I still can't find them anywhere. SE is too expensive.- helloh3adfi

I prefer Sennheiser, because Beyerdynamic never changes the earcups. They're that small and narrow since forever. Their headbands are also not that great.- helloh3adfi

Oh come on Sennheiser, couldn't you just add a hardcase to HD 620S so I can safely transport them? Need to buy them separately so you get more :money_mouth: ? Is the TRN Medusa any good? Tonedeafmonk didn't like them. Truthear Zero Red and Blue should be a lot better? Truthear GATE is up on shenzhenaudio! There are already some reviews like this. He liked the HOLA more, but maybe others will like more treble instead?- helloh3adfi
